Hot Toys Movie Masterpiece 1/6 Mandarin Figure

This is easily one of the best pieces Hot Toys has produced.

Sadly, I hated his character and the travesty of a film he was in and could never justify purchasing. Congrats to all those of you who dug it, though.

Nobody is crying here, we are all speaking without insulting each other about what we liked and didn’t like about the movie. Calm down.

Any way, I will be getting this figure soley on how cool it looks.

Hulk is a great character piece, the only thing wrong with it besides the poodles was it was a Bruce Banner movie more than a Hulk movie. People were expecting HULK SMAH! For two hours and hated the movie because it wasn't that. But for what it in fact was it was good as.

I agree that it was a great introspective attempt. Ang Lee gave the film an artistic edge. Very cool. I love the film.

Eric Bana was a bad choice though.. sorry.

..& there was only one poodle. A Mastiff & a Pitbull in the trio - & you think of the poodle first?

The dog fight was one of the BEST things about the film.

Originally, I came here to comment on the chair; It looks great, but it's a static 'set piece'.
That means we need the pair of demonic-looking dragon statues which sat to the left and right of the chair,
and the little round telephone table just to the right of the chair, the assault rifle standing in view,
the American military helmets with bullet holes, AND the appropriate cloth tapestry backdrop and rug.
Why not recreate the entire set? The items required would be a simple group of extras, easy to produce,
and they would add TONS of movie-appeal to the figure as a whole.

I'm kind of hoping he comes with a backdrop (preferably one more like the promo pictures), that would be a pretty cool set up. I'm really loving this figure. Still want me a Pepper Potts though.

I know there are a lot of talented customizers here, including myself if I may say so (and I may.)
Problem #1 is, I don't have access to precise 3D details of the dragons for reference, only dark images from the shots above.
I'm sure HT could work with Marvel Studios to obtain 360 degree scans of the dragon props, but I can't.
Problem #2 is that HT probably won't bother. I really think if the dragons and/or other features of the whole set were being included,
they would have been on display with Trevor at SDCC. I hope I'm completely wrong...
