Why is everyone in such a hurry to see this figure?
1. The sheer amount of figures Hot Toys have announced and have planned is astounding. The later this is revealed, the better. I'll need more money.
2. This will be the 4th release of a Hot Toys Joker, the 4th release of a TDK Hot Toys Joker and the 5th, maybe 6th option/variation of a Hot Toys TDK Joker.
That doesn't even include the other 1/6 figures made by other companies and artists out there.
The demand for this figure isn't going anywhere. They could show it next year and it will still be in high demand.
It's got to be a while off yet. I mean, think about it. Green Lantern and X-Men: First Class licenses were announced months before this DX 2.0 Joker. Not only that, but what about all the figures that haven't even been released yet like Jake Sully, Sucker Punch figures, Captain Jack Sparrow, '89 Batman, '89 Joker, Bespin Luke, a New Captain America, Classic Predator, Fatburn, Indiana Jones, the new Bruce Lee figures etc.
They need to cool it a bit. The new TDK Joker will be here before we know it, just take it easy. The figure has already seen a slew of different releases so it's not like Hot Toys is covering new ground.

Technology has turned too many into dissatisfied people. I'll bet a lot of these people that whinge for the next reveal have a ton of generations of phones able to line up on their table for a photo shoot.

My guess is it should be out in the market well before July 2012, when TDKR releases. HT wouldn't want sales of this one to be affected in any way, especially due to the new Bat / Bane figures. Though, I am sure it wouldn't really matter to Joker fans no matter what gets released, but still, a good timing for this one would make more business sense for HT.
