Re: Hot Toys: The Dark Knight - The Joker DX 2.0
Sold my original Joker , I'll pick this up if it's good enough.

BR Joker was pretty close, no?
Close, but long overshadowed by some customs. Also, just put the BR joker next to DX09 - yeah, HT can do MUCH better now
Also, the shirt, vest and tie on the DX01 outfit are particularly badly tailored IMO. Coat is allright, but again plenty of room for improvement.

I think that's the best for mass produced clothing. You can't compare it with kato's work, dude
I think it has to do with material. If I'm not mistaken, hailim of Harue was in charge of the tailoring of the dx01.
I hope Kato is in charge of the outfit this time around
I would rather get a Man-Bat. We don't have any 1/6 scale Man-Bat figures yet.
I'll wait for the 1/4.
Then again.....

Actually just comparing to figures HT has done since.
The DX09 again is a good example. FAR better tailored outfit than the DX01. Just look at the shirt collar for instance

Yeah, it does have to do with the material, HT could have easily sourced a better material for the DX01. Hailim did a great job with the proto outfit but clearly, much of his work was lost in the production versions.
I wouldn't be surprised if Kato has been involved in the DX 2.0, but definitely not aware if that's the case.

Has he disappeared for a while?
