HT has done rooted hair in the past, just wondering why not for Joker?

Im guessing sculpted too, but rooted hair isnt that far from a possibility.

You are right, but what I think he meant is that there's no chance it will be that detailed as the BobbyC sculpt. The Black Widow's rooted hair looks just.. awful. I wonder if Hot Toys could mass-produce something like the BobbyC Joker headsculpt?

I intend to look at the Specs and pics, give my initial thoughts, lurk a little bit, and possibly post in response to some of the initial thoughts posted by fellow freaks. However, when the _____ing starts, I'm gonna make like a shepherd and get the flock outta here. You nitpickers can do great things when you get rolling (you're HT's nagging wife telling him to mow the lawn), but just like any nagging wives, you can be annoying as all hell. If Hot Toys hired Kato to make the clothes then they should hire BobbyC to make the hair, or maybe the whole headsculpt!

Arms look too puffy. Head complexion doesn't match the tones of neck. Body is too fat. PERS is off . . .

I have no intention of setting the bar low. If this Joker doesn't wow the hell out of me I will pass. Its as simple as that. Joker 2.0 is up against some pretty stiff compotition. Way too much cool stuff is rolling out. HT is either gonna have to go big or go home. Full dio!

I don't like the rooted hair. If the figure has rooted hair, it will look just like one of those overpriced customs (which I am not a fan of). It also reminds me of dolls. might as well include a little pink barbie comb. I wasn't a fan of the rooted hair on the female figures HT has done in the past either like Scarjo from Iron Man 2 and Silk Spectre.

No rooted hair. No PERS (but I'm sure they'll give us PERS and many people will get derp eyes).

I'm cutting the elbows on mine, adding the neck from a medicom figure and breaking his legs to get him to sit. ____ the D02 I'm sure TDKR will make a better one!

Why the assumption? Why not laughing? He did that too in his chair with his hands on the table. Why not smacking his lips? Or smiling?

It could be this - but somehow I really think it will be more expressive, smiling at least, maybe even laughing.

I know a lot of people want a laughing sculpt (mainly those that have all the other Joker releases), but I dont know if HT will go that scene specific with him unless they give a second head sculpt. I feel that this release is to draw people in that missed out on the first one and take away from the secondary market. Not everyone will be interested in just a laughing Joker head sculpt.

And No, doing hair like that for every figure would be too much work for hot toys, and it would surely raise the cost if they did and it still would never be at that level of quality, there are reasons why Bobby's heads cost a grand.

I would go on that assumption: 2 heads. No laughing if no two heads. I agree, I doubt they'd do that with a single head. But then I'd just keep the Bank robber sculpt.

See thats why I think well get a somber/neutral look and if they give us a second head it will be more expression. Laughing or smiling.
