Wow that is great! I've seen the Hot Toys one in person and I have to say the Takara is nice but I don't think its that much better than the Hot Toys version.
The head sculpt on the Takara is awesome though!

Hmm, I'd say TAKARA as well!
Didn't anyone point out the additional accessories that come with the TAKARA version?
The harness (spelunking gear!) for the suit (pre-Bat suit), and most importantly, the Christian Bale head!
But I reckon he'd have pick that info up from Michael Crawford's review by now.

IT depends greatly on what you want out of the figure.
Either something you can play with, or something you can display. I.e. something that plays well, or looks great.
The takara is a play with figure. Buttload of accessories, bruce in gear version or full bats version, very poseable, etc. The negatives of that are obviously the thinner suit, the thinner body, the joint in the cowl being a bit obvious and the honkey feet. Plus he he has a bit of a thin cape its like one piece of material i hear.
Hot toys is pretty damn stiff, he can do poses but it requires time and patience and care, so you don't damage the suit as its tight. BUT its VERY accurate. Probably the closest to the film, because its an actual under suit with rubber armor on it, like the real suit. Taks is just solid rubber from what i've seen. The HT has the solid neck/head its a good sculpt not quite as much personality in the face as taks but still decent. And he has good size and proportions. The armor is all solid and smooth looking no breaks or gaps (such as taks hip flaps). He has decent accessories but just basic stuff, grappel gun, batarangs, and bomb, and some hands. Cape is very nice, double layers of fabric sewn together and its massive.
I went with the Hot toys, over the others, but also mainly because the Tak was near impossible to get before this rerelease and garnered $300 prices on ebay, but still my personal choice was accuracy over playability and to me HT looked best
IF its a choice you want to make, you dont even need to consider medicom, its between hot toys or takara, and its dependant on the things i mentioned above and your personal preference, but if i have to say anything its dont even look twice at the medicom, just forget it even exists.

you know i have the dc direct and he looks pretty cool actually
love my tak bats. but im getting a HT bats to put a xenoviper bale head on it. i think it looks more true to the film. wide and bulky. the tak bats is awesome ..but looks more sleek like he will in the sequel

I own the Medicom and love it, sure he's on the small side but I just couldn't get over the head sculpt of the HT's one when trying to decide. With that said I'm trying to unload it at the moment cause I have the Tak Bats on order and will get the inevitable TDK version when he shows up.
I do not own Medicom because of it's small size. I do own Takara and Hot Toys. Quality wise Hot Toys takes the cake. Takara's suit is starting to show stress signs and possible tearing in the future. The both look fantastic, though.

I have the Takara version but I also like the HT version. The suit, cape, and the belt look better on the HT version but the HS of the Takara is just breathtaking.

Spend the extra money and Get the Takara Batman.it's the best one

i always thought the hot toys sculpt is the best one. in the movie, bale's cowl was tight which made his face look chubby just like the hot toys fig. the takara sculpt looks like bale if he was wearing a looser mask. if that makes sense.
