Yeah, for me Tak won the first round!
But seeing the improvement in the new HT Supes makes me think they might be the one to watch this time, especially if Yulli is on sculpting duties.
Is there any official word on who has the licence this time yet?

I ordered the last Takara from toys2.net just now,i just couldnt rescist:rotfl

The only ones we know for sure are Mattel and DC Direct. :monkey4

Note: DC Direct makes some nice figures (though they suffer from the opposite problem of Medicom, imho, in that they are too oversized) but their movie-based ones have been almost universally BAD.

So, any chance we have of getting some nice 1/6 figures based on The Dark Knight will rest squarely with Hot Toys, Takara and (maybe) Medicom. If any of them has the license, that is.

I actually think that Hot Toys is our one chance at getting an awesome 1/6 Ledger Joker figure.

I'm gonna pre-order this through either Toys2 or BBTS. Can anyone suggest which one I should use? (I've ordered from both before in the past... but which one usually receives stuff first? And I can't recall if Toys2 waits until shipping to charge). Thanks.

Toys2.net is not only the first to get them but his shipping and packaging are A+.

I'm not sure about the charging ahead on pre-orders though, I would contact Eric at Toys2.

I've only ever ordered In Stock product from Toys2... that's why I don't know about how he deals with pre-order charges.

Nevermind. It's now listed as Out of Stock (which I assume means pre-sold out) at Toys2. So, BBTS it is. That was an easy decision. :lol

i just sold my hot toys batman, so i can get a SECOND tak batman - that's how much i love it.

as well as TDK figs, i hope at some point a company goes back and gives us a scarecrow or ducard. i'd be all over that.

i am hoping for dark knight figs from any company myself. but batman has a new suit in the new movie so they probably wont rehash anything.

Actually, he also wears the Begins suit in TDK, so he has at least two suits.

Thats cool but still to rich for my blood, plus BBTS charges through the ass on shipping to Canada. LOL I remember back in the day wanting to buy a case of Rocky Jakks figure from them and they wanted I think $50 for shippping.

LOL welcome to my world mate!!!

I got the Medicom Batman today.............................:monkey2 What the ****s with the horrible eyes?

The figure is great, I think it looks very cool but the eye thing is really pissing me off right now! His eyes are like a bright green, why? The cape is real cool but overall i'm thinking of sending it back because of the eyes and completely forget the idea of having a flipin Batman!

I have bought a bunch of Hot Toys and Sideshow and have never had an issue more annoying than this one! I think Medicom stinks, their small detail quality sucks and they're way overpriced too!

I guess I should have listened to the 51-12 voice here in this thread.

I'm sending it back.

Sorry to hear that you're disappointed in your Medi Bats. I only have one Medicom figure and it will be my last! :emperor

P.S. Hot Toys is where it's at!

Oh well you live and learn.

since toys2.net was sold out i thought you might wanna see this

looks like they are selling the "sub-standard" ones they get in...i suppose they sort through them and ship them out depending on who ordered what type. i doubt it matters though. i guess i ordered the "standard" but who knows if it matters or not, the figure is mint.

" This item is in Sub-Standard Grade Condition:
The item is brand new, in mint condition, and includes all packaging.
Packaging condition is 60% mint (C6), to 80% mint (C8).
The packaging may have dents, tears, price tags, creases or other flaws.
Sub-Standard Grade items are perfect for opening, the item itself is mint. "
