Kind of a lame argument if you think about it, just buy what you like and let others buy what they like.
You can't put a price on talent buddy, NECA sculpts beat HT sculpts by miles.
Yeah and they are not affraid to hide it either, have you seen those fugly arms on HT predators!
Come and say that when the dreads of your predator will start falling of because HT uses the cheapest materials known in this mysterious universe of ours.
Am i the only one that thinks articulation is overrated, i'd rather have a great sculpt than the kiddie Toy-look of HT's predator figures.
If you want to see art look at NECA's P1 sculpt now that is art.
What's release date got to do with it? I don't need a review when i have had both V2 and V3 Robocop by HT plus the NECA figure.
The paintjob on HT's Robocop is absolutely fantastic but the sculpts is very simplistic compared to the NECA one.
whoa - where was that announced? are there any proto pics?Yeah not so much the Terminator ones. I'm thrilled with the work from both companies there for the most part. T-sarah's likeness could be better and Arnies face could be a bit longer while Neca's T-1000's face is a bit too long and their QC blows.
Neca's alien isn't dead on I guess but its certainly moreso than Hot Toys one. Personally I'd rather the lower-end close-to-accurate figure than a high end one that f___s up in the most important areas.
As for a NECA Dutch, yes they will be making one.
Hot Toys all the way. If money's your excuse for buying NECA, get a job or ask your mom for an increase in allowance.

Both companies have truly talented sculptors. Pitting sculptors against the other is moot IMHO, especially since both companies cater to different markets. Besides, AGAIN, a LOT of reviews from trusted, professional reviewers prove you wrong.
If you're talking about the visible articulation points, well I welcome it just as long as I get articulation.
Yes, and I betcha NECA uses the choicest materials for their products?
No, but those who say that articulation is overrated collect statues and maquettes. If you want unmatchable sculpt, you should be collecting those instead. But for MOST people in sideshow collectors forum (or at least those not collecting maquettes and stats), who are either mainly interested in 1:6th scale figures, then you're in the minority in thinking that articulation is overrated.
And so is HT's. AGAIN, I refer you to a lot of reviews that CONTRADICT your statement.
congrats, you did a great job trolling.
Not really feeling this argument anymore but just one thing; do you really think i care about reviews when i can judge things for myself? Some reviews are useful when deciding to buy, watch...etc something but when things present themselves in front of my own eyes and judgement i don't really give a rats %ss what somebody else thinks about it anymore. I'm arrogant enough to think i'm always right. If you need somebody to review a thing you can experience yourself at first hand then you need to become a bit more individualistic.

Hottoys 64
NECA 8
Hottoys is the best for sure...
