it's been 36 minutes Les... we need pics NOW!!!!
Les is excited, but p!tu will be the only one who assmbles the loader while being loaded
Rip's together!....some prepics taken...not downloaded yet....
MF's right! Excited ain't the word for it! I'm SUPPOSED to be taking a ton of newspapers out right now....but can't stop on this PL!
Reading the instructions....thinking....I want to add some silver dings first, before I build it, And that's it. Just downloaded a ton of images of the real PL from online, and am studying where the silver dings are....silver marker pen in hand...it won't need too many actually. The paint on it is top notch! TOP!
Wait til you see your's!
It is a breathtaking moment to open the box though. You sort of swoon...
I had to sit down.
Pics soon! No hoses for a while, so I can ding...bear with me....this is heavy stuff!
I can't. For some reason, my computer doesn't see my camera now. I can't get it to download any photos. I even did some movies to try and download, and in my fear that I had done something wrong, I deleted them. Sorry guys. I had one about how to add dings. I am kinda mad right now.
Also, I cannot get my back arm pistons to come out of the larger shell, so I can attach them to the ball joint mounts at the butt area. It's like they are locked in place or something. It is together, and Ripley is in it, looking cool and posed. The thing poses great and the ankles seem good and tignt, like it won't fall over. Her hands are holding the arms in pose now, as is the swivet joint at the upper shoulder of the PL. You can turn it for various arm abilities.
Anyway...
I am furious that my camera won't work. I have a Canon A540 and it loaded pics fine the other day. I am not sure what has happened. I don't know how to delete programs in Vista, so I can't delete and reload the software.
Just take my word for now, THIS FIGURE RULES! And I am pissed at my system. I wish I could share with you guys.
Maybe I can later.
Other than this setback, all is cool.
Not really, the most difficult part was removing the rods on the back those were a b!tc#, but the rest was a breeze. Hot Toys really did a good job on making sure it could be put together and taken apart with little problem. It also fits back in the box perfectly.
awesome pics Les!!!!!! that thing looks gorgeous, and is perfect where you have it.
closeup pics of the dings please!!
Congrats's Les, this thing is awesome!!THE POWERLOADER IS HOME! RIDING IT's TOWER!
The odd parts...
