Oh, yes it's like that, bright at the source and fading gradually the further from the source it gets.
Thanks, I'll be doing more at some point, but this thing definitely comes with it's own set of photographic rules, much different from regular 1/6 figures, so when time permits, experimentation with different settings.

Thanks to SSC and their awesomeness... I can finally re-order the Powerloader!
Second chance has finally allowed for FlexPay!!
BACK IN THE GAME, BABY!
Thats awesome Josh!!
The subject was shot several times with different light sources, the way VFX companies take several passes of model shots. Here, once for the main light alone, the next for several blue lights alone, and the cage light alone as well.Very nice, care to share what your lighting setup was for this shot?
keeping from bumping the subject and the tripod is not easy to keep the images lined up right, takes a lot of patience
There are digital cameras out there like my ol' Canon G3 that include a IR remote control for just that purpose. But in this instance I set the shutter release to delay 10 seconds on a little Canon SD800 to let the camera wobble settle itself out.
just got confirmation that my 'second chance' PL has been shipped....
have also got my hands on the Marine set as well....oh bring on the displays...will post pics when they are all together with my predator/alien purchases...hot toys are just the way to go...
