Question: are more HT things kits?

Alot of the Movie Masterpiece stuff like the Aliens, Predator, and Robocop lines come in pieces that have to be assembled. This usually just entails popping arms and legs together, though. They also include instructions. Even though HT refers to them as "model kits", I would hesitate to say they are really models. It's more like they "some assembly required" toys where they come broken down into major parts for packaging.

Thanks Dassy, you just made my morning...in the name of Darwin that thing looks impresive, and more articulated than I thought it would be.
I can not wait to see in the flesh.

Know what u mean, just spent an hour wiping the Drool off the floor!

:rotfl

The box is so big it has a Carrying Handle!!!:D

OMG the powerloader is huge! Ripley's headsculpt is the same though. Should be getting mine soon!

Yes, that head sculpt... Didn't HT officially announce that Ripley would have a new head sculpt?! I imagined the Power Loader bigger though. Thankfully it is not! I don't have enough space as it is!:D

To me, that face looks a bit more intense than this one:

That is one amazing piece of 1/6 scale art!

I needed to call an ambulance to restart my heart after seeing these pics :medic

Seeing these pics made me want it so much more.

After seeing the size of this thing, and the box it comes in, I know that the freight to Australia is going to be a killer, but it will be so worth it:lol

Can't wait.

That is very impressive.
I am a bit disappointed with the HS though... I was hoping for something more radical, a better likeness.
Still, very cool and I can't wait to have it displayed.

OMG!

Thanks Dassy. Yeah, the HS is slightly different, eyes, facial expresssion... I noticed the cage lights are a bit inaccurate (should be 2 vertical light bars) but I ain't complaining! It's a bonus feature and will display great at night.

This is a dream grail piece for me.

More Pics..Thanks to XL

The paint job might be different, but the sculpt looks just like the old one IMO. Check some of the Ripley repaints that resemble this new HT Ripley very much. We'll know for sure once we have this piece in hand.

This is also done to thin out the license to multiple companies. The "action figure" goes to one and "snap kit" goes to another.

I GOT MINE!

No, not really.
Sorry.
I just had to see what it felt like to actually say it. :lol
Doesn't feel as good as I wanted it to...

If I have to wait much longer... :monkey4

And then, THESE AMAZING PICTURES COME TO LIFE! :monkey5
And, finally, SCALE! Blessed scale! Someone holding it!

Super shots!

Now...to just wait.... and wait....
and wait....and make one more flexpay payment....
and wait....and wait....

Some more... :monkey5
