The bio is not gross. The NECA figure, customized, is not gross. The Wolf....is gross. And skinny. And goofy.

And has BOOOOBIES!!!111

It will have to end somewhere I suppose, unless we see more of the lost hunters next? After the P1 and the commandos.

I dont know if they would re-release them though, would be great for people that missed out on them though.

I think there's probably one more Lost Hunter combo worth doing (IE one that is not the P2 with a new helmet). Myabe a 'battle damage' P1 with the unused helmet that ended up in P2... I just don't think there are enough in-movie variations of the original Predator to make up a second release otherwise.

I think that rereleases of the AVP Predators (which are only a couple of years old!) would be very unlikely. It would impact too much on the 'limited run' tag which is a big part of HT's sales pitch. I could, however, see battle-damaged Celtic and Scar figures.

HT seem to consistently do 4 Predators per year. In my ideal world their 2009 run could be:

- P1 Predator

- 'Variant' P1 Predator with 'lost hunter' Bio-Helmet.

- Lost Predator #2 - "Snake" design with "Ram" helmet (look 'em up on other threads!)

- Battle damaged / bareheaded Scar Predator

.... though the last would be a right kick in the nadgers for those who've spent $500+ on the Ani-Com Scar. :)

yeeahhhh! :joy :joy :chew

WOOT !!!

:banana :banana :banana

This is the one I was watting for. I cant belive how long they are taking with this lineup. I am kind of glad they are taking this long because now with there sculping skills perfected they can bring us the best predator model kit ever made.

I have a feeling this will be a huge lineup for HT so you guys better work some overtime because if you let them go you will play triple the money for him.

look at PREDATOR 2 ELDER how expessive he is now.

I cant wait to see the pics on him.

HT ROCKS !!

While re-releases are unlikely, I wouldn't put it past them. Both Superman and Batman were re-released and the original figuires were some of the only ones to have a set ES (and a low one at that). When it comes to making money I won't put anything past HT... maybe even seeing BD versions of the AVP.

In the newsletter you can see a lighter pic of Dutch in the HT logo on top, definately a different sculpt.

So how many P1 preds will everyone be purchasing?

Depends. How many of the same figure, just 1, how many of the variations HT offers, probably all of them unless it really comes down to some meaningless extra.

Like if they did a BD and it's basically just blood paint on the figure and an accessory or two more than the first issue, I'll probably pass, I'm not a fan of BD paints. I got the BD P2 because A) by the time I looked the first was sold out or WAY too much, plus the BD comes with a boat load of goodies and is a more complete figure. Thankfully the blood is fairly well hidden.

I want the ultimate P1 Predator, ideally just a figure that fully encompasses the original Predator, but knowing HT, it'll take at least 2 figures to gather all of the items. If a variation is worthwhile enough I'll bite, otherwise I'll source the extras off eBay or something.
