Wolf has a way oversized head, with an oversized over bite mouth, and a super skinny, lanky body. The mask is the best thing about the whole design.

Well all of the predators are different in some way, they are not exact copies of each other. The AVP ones were huge, the wolf is a little skinny, and the predator 1 & 2 are average sized.

Thats all well and fine, but they should atleast keep a common facial stucture, and not look like goofy morons.

There's numerous things wrong with every pred released so far. The biggest imo is the head size. Look at Wolf, take off his bio. His head is perfectly sized and proportioned to his body. And that's wrong. Preds have huge noggins because of all the animatronic crap within them. Yet Wolf has a really small, normal sized head. P2 is the opposite, with the Bio on it looks ok but take it off and now suddenly his head is WAYYYYYY too small.

Really? I've seen more people complain that the Predator heads are too big than too small. I've argued in the past that Predators have huge heads - but I was actually defending the Hot toys predators by saying that because I think the HT pred heads are huge. P2 predators head is 'wayyyyy' too small without the bio? Are we looking at the same figure? I think its perfectly sized and this coming from someone who knows Predator heads ought to be huge.

yea they messed up a bit with wolf, my biggest problem is the skinny legs, and the skin colour, and i dont like the ^^^^ strapping they used for his thigh pads.

This is a pic of P2 without the Bio and without the face (mandibles, etc.)..

Look at how huge it is compared to the Kevin's face:

And keep in mind the actual face/Mandibles aren't there which would make it even bigger. Now look at the HT Predator 2 without a Bio courtesy of Les Walker:

You seriously can't see how small the P2 head is? It was sculpted to be proportionate to the body. Which is wrong, because Preds have huge heads.

From what i've heard just the arms are made of rubber, so the rest is your basic 1/6 body. This is what i've heard though, I could be wrong.
Any idea if the same will be true for the Predator? I'd love for the elbow and torso joints to be hidden behind a rubber "skin" like what they did with the new Hellboy figure. Looking at Billy in those pics above, he definitely has no visible cuts at the elbows.

I pesonally hope they don't use Rubber.

1. I don't want it falling apart EVER

2. I don't want hot toys to really try new things on the most important one.

I didn't mean any offence in my comment just so you know :peace.
Anyway , yeah if they made 2 versions I wouldn't mind the trying some new stuff to try and improve them . :rock2

100% agree with this. I wouldn't want rubber arms on a pred either. Dreds have held up OK, but wouldn't want more to worry about beyond those.

Bring on the rubber layered Predator body..hell i got both Batmans might as well get the Predator with the same thing going on..would look so much better and more realistic..i think thats where hot toys are improving.

Every Pred has been plastic, I'd like to have continuity in my collection, and not have only one standing out like that.

Plus, the ^^^^^fest that has been the ED-209.... I'd like to avoid with the Predator line. Plus, the muscle...rubber...whatever body, hinders posing. No thanks.

Would you feel differently if Hot Toys has improved their rubber materials to avoid the same issues as ED-209? I've got to think they wouldn't be using a rubber body on Hellboy, and rubber arms on Abe Sapien, Billy and presumably Dutch if they anticipate having the same deterioration issues as ED-209. Plus, their batman figures have full rubber suits (which I love, btw).

Personally, I'd rather they hide the ghastly torso articulation and fatten him up with a rubber body for the number one Predator, rather than make him underweight for the sake of hard-body articulation like all of their other Predators.

I gotta go with the hard sculpt folks on the Predator. I want the poseability to capture this guy in all his badassness and while HT's come a way with their rubber work, it still has limits and points for caution.

Based on this image, it's standard Pred construction and it looks plenty baddass. The face was my biggest concern and that fear is washed away.

How can you tell? The ball joint shoulder? Or just the look of the skin material? But yes, the face is absolutely spot on!
