Yep, in 2022 they just put the original Batman '89 on the new diorama for the convention and updated it before putting it up for order. Doesn't mean that'll be the case this time with Predator but they've done it before.



The 2.0 Batman '89 has to be the same size as the original or else he wouldn't fit in the Batmobile they just reissued.

Damn that was in 2022, time flys.

I’m not expecting a new body or them to ditch the joints, the feral predator got a whole new body and still kept the joints.

Since their is prescient with batman hopefully we get a new bio mask and sculpt.

Wont get my hopes up, but this as it is already is a day one for me so any improvement would just be a welcome bonus

I'm seeing these comments a lot in this, the T2 and Returns threads. Until they go up for pre-order and we know what they're actually offering, I wouldn't pass judgement just yet.

We kind of do in what they did show. That's why we judge. If we complain there's a chance they listen. If we all agree it's the greatest thing, they will just re-release what was shown.

I think this is the wrong forum, and we are the wrong audience. I’ve heard it said before that hot toys only care about the Hong Kong audience.

To me this screams something they can put together quick and release quick now that marvel and Star Wars have essentially taken a year off. With very little releasing this year movie/ show wise compared to previous years.

I like the idea of there being a new classic Predator for ppl to get, but I think I'm more in the statue space for Predator now instead of figures. Though, I really want a Dutch to go with Predator. Haven't heard if Prime1 is making one to go with their version and who knows if HT will finally make one. With them using silicone now, maybe that will give HT enough interest to make a full silicone upper body Dutch like they've done with both the Bane 2.0 and Wolverine (jacket version)

What I would really like, and have always wanted with the preds is for them to all be the correct size.
I want an OG Predator that towers over average 1/6 figs - the Feral looks promising in that respect.

The entire thing is full of inaccuracies. This is such a lazy move on Hot Toys part. They need to find someone to sculpt the right likeness instead of someone who does their best interpretation.

I prefer the original release. It has about the same amount of inaccuracies, but also at least some articulation to be able to hide some of them.

If they don’t make any improvements to JH, I wouldn’t hold my breath.

You could probably kitbash a fairly decent Dutch.

Curious besides the obvious like the bio mask, and probably the headsculpt dreads included, what are the inaccuracies??

And are they inaccurate to the classic too?

Jar Jar needed a whole new body, the JH has the classic body to pull out of storage.

Hot Toys 101 if they can get away with reusing something they will.
