Well I agreed to keep it. I got the exclusive for $210 shipped. If I cant fix it I can always sell it for parts I guess. The exclusive / guns alone are worth a bit.

Sorry to hear about the damage, man. I'm glad you were offered a huge refund for it. If it happened to me I might take the refund, fix the joint with superglue. I don't usually re-pose my figures (especially the fragile ones) that keeping that elbow stationary to prevent breaking again won't be much of a problem to me

My third one came with a broken piston on the leg. Waiting on a reply from Sideshow. I would rather a replacement than my money back. This one will be holding Enterbays minigun!

I just sent a request to Sideshow for a replacement too, as mine came with paint damage (chrome missing around the shoulder), they told me they had no replacements left. Gave me the usual options; $40 credit, $30 cash back or refund. I asked for a refund and plan to buy another one locally from pop cultcha. If you sent in your request recently then you'll probably get the same response I did.

Can someone honestly answer, is this thing worth the money?
I have the opportunity to buy one and would like an honest opinion.

I think it's an amazing figure on display. The detail is really cool and true to life. Has great presence on the shelf. The gun and base however, look rubbish IMO. Very cheaply made and don't compliment the awesomeness of the figure itself. Like most Hot Toys figures, I do think it's a bit overpriced. These 1/4 scale figures sell for more money than PF's. But that's what these things cost, and with a lack of options from other manufacturers, it's what you have to pay if you want a replica of your favourite characters in figure form, so you have to decide if it's worth it to YOU. Having said all that, I do think it's worth it for ME, personally, as I've always wanted an endoskeleton replica on display, and now I got one Most people in this thread seem to be pretty happy with it though, so that says something.

I just unboxed and set mine up today. It's hard to say if it's worth the money. The reason i say that is mainly because the fingers are so fragile and flimsy. It is very light compared to a statue of a similar price. I also discovered that i hate posing. No more figures for me, only statues. That being said, this endo looks great on display, and in the end that's what really counts. Imho this piece is a bit overpriced though.

Statues are made of polystone, they will always be heavier. Little fingers are always going to feel fragile and flimsy, unless made of steel lol. If Sideshow made another endo PF that looked as good as this I probably would've gone for that.

I PO'd the exclusive last year and when it came it was the regular. I took it out and looked it over, and it felt really cheap to me. I don't have any other endoskeletons to compare it to, but I asked SS to just refund my money I was that turned off by it. I'm happy for everyone that has it and enjoys it, but for me I was happy to just have my money back. I'm legit trying to help, not trolling or start anything with the ppl that like it

Coming from 1/6 action figure this is such an awesome figure and not just 1/6 blown up to 1:4 especially when you actually did purchase 1/6 endos before which are all plastic and fragile. About prices all I would say it is in line w the trend and upgrade in scale. As for worth as well to me it's well worth it! If you don't know how to pose rarely anyone is improvising poses. Even the animator a refer to human posture examples so really what you need to except is to copy the poses from other members or still frames from the movie. That's what most everybody does at least for baseline. At worst you leave it in that positron forever and it be like a statue. With option to change it when you see or envision something better. Btw use the stand. Statue would and this should too. Don't expect it to be able to hold any position safely for extended period of time without it

mine came in today. guess what? another broken item...pfff...fixed the footh and pistons. the jaw piece wasn't anywhere to be found. this **** is killing me. 5th item that came in damaged from Sideshow. making me sick...

They ship to SSC, SSC slaps your shipping label, mails it out (much cheaper than buying from China/Hong Kong), and arrives to you.

SSC acts as the distributor. They're not at fault for making a *****ty product in this case.

no, normally i buy from lcdn indeed and they fix problems the good way. this one i bought in the netherlands and the seller say's it's his last one and that this is the first complaint he get's. i have heard that more than once this excuse in the past

Well, my Endo was on board of the container ship that broke in half during a storm. Dunno if you followed the news about it.
But that's why I'm just going to get it.
So...I didn't have much of a choice.

But I just mailed him about support, regarding all the QC issues and cause it's gonna get shipped to me directly from his supplier.

Let's see what he tells me, but I'm good on this. He's a good guy...

Well...could be...but I dunno if the freight was salvaged, but I guess so.

But imagine...the world REALLY gets destroyed through atomic wars sometime and when all is gone and the next kinda civilization is on it's run and they get kind of a scuba gear...they could find a 1/4 chromed endo as a remnant of our civilization.

This idea kinda rocks...

Got mine today. Got him open and on his base, then started messing with the articulation. Everything was looking good until I moved his right wrist just the teeniest bit... And his forearm just below the swivel came loose and fell into my hand. I can see where the biggest pipe was glued inside the upper part forearm and the cap at the top of it that houses the 4 skinny "tendons" came apart. I don't see where anything appeared to break, just shoddy glue work as far as I can tell. As much as I'd like to fix it best I can, it's easily the most expensive collectible I've bought and keeping it would make me feel like a sucker so I suppose I'll send it back to SST and will go no endo for now.
