Hey mate the feet is not broken, just pop it back in.
For the skull missing part ask for the missing piece only.
Will avoid you the hassle to re ship and end up with more défective parts.

thanks man! the big problem is that here in europe we buy the items that are released a few months after being released in america.

so we don't buy directly from hot toys or ss. i've contacted the shop owner and he'll try and get a hand on a new one. but he himself ain't got none no more. but hopefully it'll get solved.

Agreed, and it's not like these figures are just thrown into their shipping boxes. I absolutely do not believe it would make it past HT's QC with a foot just hanging off, or disconnected. If you own this figure, you know it's packed safely and snugly into it's form-fitting tray. If any part of was broken off or out of place, it would not be able to be packed – it wouldn't even fit.

No doubt about it.

You would have to be a genuine sucker to believe anything on forums like this unless you know the person in the flesh.

Im in the same boat as you im in Europe too.
I contacted directly hot toys a few Times and they helped me but it might take Time and persévérance.
When i buy now i make sure the seller taken the Time to Check the figure especially these big pièces like this.
You pay extra sometimes like Ith timcent but at least you are safe.

People are way too quick to point the finger of blame at Hot Toys and Sideshow. It's a well known fact that customs in most European countries open and damage everything they touch, then they charge outrageous import fees for doing it! They treat your mail like rubbish, so always pay for insurance and full tracking to cover yourself.

how can that be? the tape is always on it and sealed. like with sideshow statues the sideshow-stamp is always unbroken and tape same thing. it comes in with containers and go to the shops accross europe.

You make it sound as if there was a vendetta toward sideshow or hot toys. People are pissed toward their ressellers, who ever their might be... In that case its a sideshow resseller that sold 5 défective figure to our friend so i guess hes got a right to be angry.
Now his reseller has to do his job. Hope for him hes an official ones if he is then he Will have no problem getting the missing part.
If not...
Like i said the key is to buy from a trusted reseller, that Will go the extra mile and Check the figure before shipping it.
What you might not know is that when you order directly from sideshow when yur in Europe , they ship by fedex, and many Times i received damaged items who were ever opened by customs since fedex has its own custom thing.
So Sideshow sometimes drops the ball and they are many exemples here

But as our friend said what does he has to gain from this.
He bought the figure because he loved it.
In what sad world people would buy a product just to bash a company... Seriously

well, let me get this clear to the others who have doubts of my honesty: the 5 items in a row were bought from different shops, so not all 5 came from the same shop. the Endoskeleton i bought from a shop in the Netherlands who only sells Hot Toys merchandise. So i do think he'll be able to solve the problem.
