you can take of the dark area (battle damage)with nail polish remover. i read that way back in this thread.
Any advice on where I can still find one?
Toys2.net has one in stock.
I think you might have misunderstood my post. I didn't really have a bad experience, and I'm not basing my opinion on that. My figure came with a bit of chrome paint missing on the shoulder. As they can't replace parts, they refunded me and asked me to destroy the piece. I had always planned to buy another one with the refund money.
My opinion is based on the fact that this is 80% cheap plastic and it costs $400 USD. Yes, it does look cool, don't get me wrong, and I do like it, but after smashing it, I saw past the cool factor and all I could see was $400 worth of broken plastic. It kind of made me feel a bit bitter towards it, and I didn't feel like it was worth the money when I saw it like that. I still don't think it's worth the money. It is a cool looking figure no doubt, but not worth $400. Making the entire thing out of die-cast metal or polystone would have given it a different look, trust me. It would've looked much better and much more realistic.

Is there any major QC issues to look out for on this piece?
Is it as fragile as it looks?
Thinking of picking one up on saturday but super-scared it'll be broken or even worse… that I'll brake it myself.
Really want a companion piece for my Enterbay BD T-800.
The only thing to be careful with are the back neck rods.
They are plastic and in some positions if not too careful they can brake. I broke one, got a replacement but ended up modding it with metal rods
Apart from that its not fragile at all
