Ugh I don't know what to do now, get this or the Enterbay. But I don't own any of the EB's so far. :dunno

I mean, I could get this and flip it at cost at least.

I bet you will enjoy the HT.
I have the slight thought that the EB won't be chromed, cause the parts of the Clean and BD T-800 aren't either.
And I also bet you'll get the money back, once the EB is released and the case should be that you like it more then the HT.

I am really looking forward to you guys getting this as I am hoping you both will do some comparison pics for us?!

I will indeed. I want to see how the size of the exposed endo parts on the Enterbay BD T-800 compare to the corresponding parts on the HT Endo. If the sizes match, which they may not (I know you very much doubt the head), then the issue is just certain sections not being long enough be it the legs, the midsection, the neck or a bit of all the above.

If those aren't chromed I guess that's a good indication of what's to come. I will still pick this up, it's still a beautiful piece.

I kinda think Enterbay will sandbag talking about it until after Hot Toys releases theirs.

I must say this (and I'm sure i may get jumped on :lol) I have been a long time EB collector and fan. IMO they create better headsculpts than anyone. More lifelike, more realistic. Amazing paint apps. What they don't do well though, is the back up stuff, the mechanics, the accessories, some of the clothing. Which is what this is all about. So I really don't think they will be able to produce anything even comparable to this Endo from a technical point of view. It's what HT do better than anyone else. Mechanics, moving parts, fine detailing and finish. I think we should embrace this release as possibly the best Endo we are gonna get (at least for quite a while). Who knows, maybe EB will up their game, but I haven't seen a lot of evidence of it (this level of engineering) of late.

Lucky bastid!

I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much. Although mine has left Hong Kong as of the 23rd I don't think theres enough business days left before this weekend. I'm thinking tuesday at the earliest for me.

It only cost me $20 more to get it expressed, thats just a tenner really. Worth it if you are really into something, and i only ordered at w.end. It shipped on monday.

No jump on whatsoever.
If you collect EB that long, but still manage to explain such an objective opinion, I bet you will be right.

I´m still pumped for EB´s release, but...let alone from the chromed standpoint...thist is just IT!!!

:lol

Awesome video.
God I can´t wait for this.

One thing I recognized:
They made the feet SO damn detailed.
I thought they missed details and joints, shown in the beginning of T2, but it´s all there.

I guess I won´t have any complaint with that...

He criticised the plasma rifles for just being plastic - its probably for the best, especially given their size. Enterbay goes with metal weapons and that puts strain on the arm joints of their figures and can cause them to sag. I expect a big metal plasma rifle would wreak havoc with the endoskeleton's fingers and arm joints. It might have difficulty enough as it is in holding the guns if the 1:6 figures are anything to go by.

I also disagree with his complaint about the light switch being inside the head - what he suggested sounds much worse.

The base..yeah its not great but I really care more about the figure.

My complaints would be related to HT looking at other companies works instead of the film, a missed opportunity to be specific to the actual T1 endoskeleton, this possible undersizing etc etc.

Your bang on about the plastic Rifle, has to be light

I love the base

I thought the light switch being inside was a good idea too :nana:

Yeah that video makes me want it now. The plasma rifles are just what I expected but thought the base looked better then that! Oh well

yup really making me want this lol i tried to resist but as we know resistance is futile. Going to have too either A) shell out someway for it now or B) flex with local retailer. Thinking flex

This bloody hobby sometimes lol

Yeah I have the same idea. Too much weight just overexerts the joints and will cause them to dip. But, they could of at least had the mags separate from the rest of the cast, oh well.

I'm not too fond of that base either. I think it should of been a dirt base with some debris and a pile of skulls and one crushed skull just like the T2 intro.

The light switch should definitely be hidden from view, it's a pain in the *** to remove the scalp but I prefer it.

Good review overall, 9/10 seems right.

I've always wanted a definitive endo as much as I wanted a definitive dark knight. HT delivers again.

I agree about the gun having to be lite in weight . I absolutely don't want anything breaking those fingers . It's going to be hard enough trying keep myself from breaking them by mistake .
