Arm length comparison:

endo lying on top of EB T-800:

Comparison with NECA 1:4 scale plasma rifle. HT is the slightly bulkier one in the top-down view and the one with the bulkier handle in the side view:

This is the problem I mentioned with the removeable back of the head. It doesn't close flush on mine.

Another shot of the leg issue in the light that I first noticed it:

Mine are also covered in these 'imperfections'. Honestly, I like them, makes the figure look more detailed. Maybe I should have given my detailed impressions so you guys knew what to expect. I think all of these things you've listed except the back part of the head not fitting properly are all intentional.

I honestly don't mind the ''imperfections'' they add to its looks and after all these things are fighting in a war. As soon as metal gets hit with anything it's going to chip, scratch and lose it's shine. i do think though the legs could have been done a little more subtle but hell im still looking forward to getting this guy.

The whole scale thing never bothered me anyway as the only 1/4 i have are neca's pred 1, hellraiser and EB batman. They are all displayed seperate and away from each other, so this guy will be displayed away from them on his own till HT dx13 comes out anyway.

thanks for the pics A-dev

Yes i think so too its intentional to look like he has been in a fight.

we'll never get a perfect endoskeleton due to those cheapness... i mean imperfection lovers.

Yes this is very, very. very, very, smart man Stupid blind imperfectionists inconsiderated foolisheses with the potatoes eyed who won't see beyond noses will buy and fool brains about enjoyementation process. Robotoide is horible joke made without genuine laughter resulting from the humor. Where is my "happy" or "forgive" is's?

NEVER, never, never, never, brain killer THE TERMINATOR/ NEVER!.NOT 1 DETAIL! All incorrected, stolen from the best talanted brains with advanced calculations. KILL THE HOT TOYS for this bootless foots and from the air to make they faces features bright! put them in discombobulatorix to show them real fear about nightmares.

This isn't an error. Some folks are expecting a factory fresh Endo, whereas this is based on the T1 endo, which we don't see till it's standing up in a huge fire. Those are flire/burn marks and oxidation (or charring) from the burning fuel at the feet of the Endo when he gets up. The spots are also related to this. The weathering is done to reflect the scenes the figure is based on. In this case, the endo just had the flesh burned off it. If it makes you feel better, look closely at the proto pics on page one. It's there too, though more subtle than the production piece.

Excellent observations. I assume it's a paint wash over the chrome?

Except this residue line I like the imperfections...makes it look "real" imo.
But great pics from an informational pov, Andrew.
No problem with the scale now anymore, couldn't care less...

Thanks for all the comparison pics A-dev, that spine articulation is pretty cool.

Although I wish this was a true copy of the T1 stop motion puppet, I think this is a really nice representation of a generic T2 future war endo. I would be surprised if a terminator fan didn't enjoy owning this. Looks great. :hi5:

If its deliberate I'll accept it I guess. I'm already less pi$$ed about it after having discovered that it appears to be the same on the other examples we've seen. Thus even if it were a factory error - I'm not the only one with it and that makes it easier to live with.

yeah, this is 100% deliberate Andrew, but mine has no way near as much distressed/bronzed coverage as yours. The legs on mine gradually fade into the less chromed coverage, mine looks like OMG's, maybe even a bit less. But I think certain lighting seems to make it more apparent.
Everything above the knees on mine is silver/chrome with very slight ageing in places, it's barely visible..

I guess it's a hand done process and they will vary (seeing a lot of this from HT lately).

The rust/bronze is just paint for the most part. However that "line scratch" on your chest plate isn't on mine. Seems like you got a very heavily weathered one.
:dunno

While looking at mine just now and comparing, I noticed something on the base. Between the black plastic bottom and the sculpted skull landscape on top, there is a translucent blue plastic line/gap.
Looks very much like this base was originally designed to light up. Only reason I can see for them to do that, but they must have taken the feature out for financial reasons?

This is a really good example of why I wouldn't be waiting for a perfect EB Endo. As I said before, they make amazing headsculpts but they are not great with the technical stuff, the HT arm makes the EB one look like a plastic toy IMO.

Great comparison pics mate. :clap

With the plating on this would it be possible to clean off the weathering to a degree like SS Endo Skull? Not that I'd do it myself, just a thought.

Yeah, probably, but there is no way I would risk it on this!

The leg on mine..

I noticed a lot of the rust color on the back of your Endo's thighs/waist. Mine is practically clean metal/chrome there. Personally I love the weathering on this Endo, I guess it's just a matter of taste? I think yours looks great Andrew, just different.

Never even notice the legs on the proto, looks good I like the weathering. Cool picture and a proper comparison. Thanks mate

It still looks very shiny even with the weathering. It just feels in the way to me. Do you like the weathering? If you had to chose which would you want as it's look?

Hmmm. OK while taking pics I've just noticed that the lower legs on my endo...appear to have been missed in the chroming process. I was looking at the heels to check if I had accidentally scraped paint off and it suddenly jumped out at me that the calve pistons are almost in their entirety a rusted, faded kinda thing. Can anyone else who has it check theirs? Theres also areas like this inside the thighs and in other places but I assumed it was deliberate elsewhere.

I remember seeing this in photos elsewhere and it was one of my questions for people who had it in-hand. It's not a mistake, they're all like this.
