Of course their new shipping rate cancels out the $20 coupon. So you're paying their inflated retail.

I'm telling you guys, in most cases, you can save at least $20-$30 on ebay, plus free ship and no tax.

I like the idea of getting 3 or 4 figures shipped at once from BBTS with their bag of loot option. I don't know how many times that happens but they do often come out in clusters. I always use a coupon from Sideshow and only the last 3 single figures shipped have been over $20 at $20.24 (Yoda, Death Trooper and Snowtrooper). But the rewards obviously cover that 24 cents.

SSC still makes sense, if you have their code, because you also get Rewards Points. So, you get the figure faster, and you still end up with a better deal than going through BBTS. But only when there is a coupon code. Otherwise, the incentive goes way down with their jacked up shipping prices and BBTS's $4 POL option.

Not so sure about this one. The dome is perfect. But the body seems too yellowish in a side by side comparison with the SS one.

I should get mine in the next couple of days since it shipped from my retailer, so I'll post pics.

Agreed, unless it's an exclusive item I have to have, I am going to stop ordering from them. I do have a lot of reward points But may use them on hulk. BBTS is probably a better option now.

Yeah, that's the point. They seem to be phasing out the coupon code that they've been attaching to product.

First they stop just giving it out. Now it looks like they are stopping even shipping it to you.

Instead, you have to participate in their Facebook chat to get a $2 - $3 code 4 times a month. Which is no longer a $20 value per month.

So the chips now side with BBTS. I wonder what Sideshow will do to them to bring back business? Maybe only allow them short stack stock -- thus the recent quick sell-outs (Hoth Leia, Anakin).

Yeah, I just got Dr. Strange, and no coupon, which was disappointing, but. . .frankly the big incentive is gone, so no huge biggie. Just makes me less committed to a pre-order I make with BBTS.

**** that ****.

Im probably going to get this but wait for a code.
Im not choosy over each version- just need an R2 in the collection. I always thought the SS version was off in color?

Funny I feel I “need” this in my collection rather than “want”!! For example I want BW Venkman and Rey displayed in my cabinets, but I feel I need R2 to fill the space next to my DX Bespin Luke!

I'm finding this myself more frequently.

I feel I shouldn't miss an OT figure, like Han in Stormtrooper disguise. He's needed, but I don't really want him.

Such figures arrive without great anticipation, get unboxed and put on display. And I think, okay, that one's done.

Ditto that. Once you have the core OT figures, the shine wears off other non essential new ones. But I'm OK with that. Makers it easy to pass up and wait for the next one that is worthy. Like perhaps the Emperor, as I don't have him and he is worthy to me. Limited display space also helps make decisions I've found.

It doesn't help that the majority of the HT line to date has been pretty underwhelming to begin with.
