Yes this is an ammo box..I had seen them before with the BSAA versions too:red (pistol) green (shotgun)

nah thats the shirt he wears in the beginning of the game, the safari chris outfit has a zebra pattern

though...i do believe the in game model of those shirts are the exact same just different patterns.
