I'd imagine it'd be easier to just buy the set and sell the damaged RoboCop. Not like there won't be people who'd happily take it off your hands.

I'd imagine it'd be easier to just buy the set and sell the damaged RoboCop. Not like there won't be people who'd happily take it off your hands.

Probably easier but I'd rather not spend that much money even to gain back the balance long term. There's too many other preorders that could go to!

Most other new 2 packs have individual releases...wonder why they didn't do individual Alex Murphy...I would buy that for a $1 !!!

You guys could always throw a thread up in the WTB. It doesn't require premium membership and when these come out in a few months the request stands a better chance of getting seen. Since these posts will get buried when the set releases.

I will probably be a good little Hot Toys minion and buy the set...I just received the Die Cast one and he is easily one of my top ten figs, so a BD Robocop isn't a bad thing....

Lucked out in scoring some extra money to be able to purchase this set. I'll be waiting for a coupon to drop to apply it though. I do wish they would have released Murphy on his own though.

I doubt you'll get many willing to sell their Murphy figure (least not in the early days of the release) unless they think they can extort a **** tonne of money for him. I mean why would anyone buy the double-set in the first place if they don't want Murphy, considering the option is there to just buy BD Robocop by himself.

Actually, just thinking, maybe it isn't a long shot at all. We collectors can be fickle folk. There's bound to be someone who buys the double-set only to then realise that they didn't really care to own human Murphy and so they decide to sell it to make some money back.
