Original was around 200$ if i'm correct, this should not be over 300$.
Glad i sold mine for a good price a while ago, was planning to customize it with a proper paint work but it was going to cost me an arm.
Can't wait to see final pics with the new paint job!
HOT TOYS better not **** up with the rubber parts and avoid them this time.

Yeah but its coming out after the Iron Monger. Thats all the excuse HT needs to hike their price. Toy 2 is by default more expensive than toy 1 you guys always forget that. What it should cost for what it is matters not a jot.

take V.2.0 scar predator and city hunter/short bus predator, with its $230-250 price tag. that's roughly around a $100 mark up compared to its predecessor, at retail.

plus, robocop/ED209 is not a milk machine like iron man and the predators.

I would just assume the worst with HT pricing and maybe be pleasantly surprised rather than the other way around.

Sold my original ED with customized resin dome for about $550 as soon as the first pics of this guy showed up. The elevated leg option, correct right-hand barrel and more detailed mouth area were enough for me. If it's got articulated toes with more wiring detail, flip up missile launcher on right barrel, more screen-accurate paint-apps and NO rubber dome (and a rubber solution for the arm and waist connectors...mine used to get squished' and stay in that position for a bit when you'd re-pose)...that would be the icing on the cake!

Hoping this will be no more than $300. I'm thinking the eventual RoboCain will be closer to Monger prices with all that detailing, size and R&D going into it to match how sturdy and posable Monger is.

Either way, I miss ED...and my old HT Robo. Bring on the new ones HT!

ED-209 is prop looking !! Hopefully not prop priced ! Definetly a must have !

Don't think a BD ED-209 custom is within my abilities so I'll probably (try to) sell my old one. With box? Without box? Decisions to be made.

I feel like the chair is a wasted accessory & it's just going to drive up the price. I think the overwhelming majority of people will be posing Robocop standing.
