I may pose him sitting in his chair ... and then add a figure of a confused looking barber standing behind him.

But, seriously, I dig the chair as an option.

Though, cool as the chair is, my STRONG preference for the DX treatment would be an unmasked Murphy portrait. Here's hoping!

No Robocop figure I've ever had can sit properly because you can't rotate his knees so that his feet can meet the floor. So it'll be new having a Robo who can sit down.

I would totally have him sitting in the chair. I'm not much for action poses. I like museum poses for my stuff since I don't bother making awesome dioramas like the one Hot Toys does at toyfair shows.

As nice as it is seeing Hot Toys remake ED209 and all their other successful figures from the past, I wish they had the cahoonas to tackle characters like Richard Jones or Clarence Bodicker. Ya know, maybe try something daring for a change instead of playing safe yet again?

That chair will be the first thing I sell. My Robocop will be posed about to fight my Classic Predator. Man I can't wait for this!

My Robocop is posed fighting with my T-1 Endo, just like the classic Dark Horse comic, OH YEEEEEAH!!!!!
I forgot to mention that my ED-209 is watching them from the sidelines too.

Nope. It's PERS to do DX.
We had chair for S. Todd and it was not a DX set.

But I really hope to get P.W.'s face (with PERS?), damaged armor pieces, gun-arm with chair and one of those huge rifles from the ending of Robocop 1. THAT would be an ultimate set to cover RC 1 and 2, many options to display him with ED and Kane.

Thou it won't happen, HT are pretty greedy bastards and they'll probably make 2 Alexs for RC1 and RC2. )))

I sold off my original Robo and ED a few years ago in anticipation of these but have since sworn off all HT figures. Can I be tempted back? It will all depend on price. I paid less than $200 total for BOTH, yes I said both, Robo and ED. The thought that I'll probably have to pay more than that for just Robocop scares me.

You most definitely will have to pay more than that for just Robocop, $225 at least.
