I wouldn't analyze that photo too much, there's a bunch of figures there from a lot of different companies. Could be the NECA robo for all we know, if EB had a proto at that level of completion they would have shown it/teased it already, right?

Not if they're waiting for HT to properly unveil theirs...and HT are waiting for EB to reveal theirs. In which case we'll never see either.

I imagine just the blue parts of his suit would be die-cast

Could explain why we saw an unpainted prototype like forever ago, where the black parts were in color but the armor was not...

Thanks. So if the figure was going to be plastic and was already that far along 8 months ago, you'd think they'd have put it up for pre-order 6 months ago. So I'm wondering if they've opted to do him in diecast but wanted the Iron Man figures to be the first officially-announced diecast MMS figures; with Iron Patriot just announced last week, it would explain why we're still waiting for robocop after 8 months....

On the plus side though, EB have revealed a very tempting shot of the headsculpt, so HT will surely now reveal a little more in their ongoing war of announcing items.

If both HTs and EBs cops are gonna has diecast parts I will choose 1/4th one most likely (if the price isn't astronomic).
Chair is cool but there's no point to pay extra $100+ for diecast in 1/6th figure.

That's a fair point... I could see the 1/6 being the same or close to the same price given all it's supposed to come with. And I just want an awesome Robocop; don't give a crap about the chair.

Im of the party of no Die Cast as well. Looking at the price tag of the bare bones Iron Patriot and imagining how much this would be Die Cast with clean and battle damage parts and the chair...****...would probably be cheaper getting the earlier release on ebay.

Same here, the only 1:4 I'm getting is the Endo. Beyond that, never.
