I don't hate it but I think it could and should be better. I would prefer they stick to a snarling evil rotj sculpt instead of this stylized hybrid thing. Buying because I need the character.

Who knows, the Endor figures looked further along at SDCC and they haven't gone up yet, Anakin just recently did.

There's a piece to his throne broken off at this con so I question how ready this release is.

Valorum was probably tired of having to listen to thousands of representatives ***** and moan all day every day. I don't know how anything got done in that Senate. Can you imagine when an issue came to the floor and half of the group felt like they had to get up and talk about it? A filibuster would last for years.

As for Amidala, she ended up with Anakin because he wouldn't leave her alone, and I'm sure someone would have figured out that if you bother her enough about a certain policy she'd just cave. Also, forget trade deals in TPM--Lucas should have focused more on how much of the government of Naboo's budget went to her make up and wardrobe. I don't know how she could govern effectively when she's spending 6 hours a day getting ready.
