For now. So is my Cody and Grievous. For now.

The true horror of collecting is the upgrading.

Ha... I'm only three figures in with 3 more on pre-order and I already know this will be a painful truth. Thankfully I'm 6 for 6 with HT but the AT-AT driver and Bounty Hunters are tempting.

Everyone's always fine with their SS... until they see the HT version.

I've given in to the fact that not one SS Star Wars figure I have will survive the HT replacement. Except the ones HT will never make. Like Hammerhead.

Good points.. I don't see HT doing clones though, and I'm still waiting for the galactic marine!!!!!!

They could end up making a few if Lucasfilm decide to revive this part of the universe time frame. Galactic Marine, Kashyyk trooper and clone pilots (V.1 and V.2) are indeed missing from PT displays.

I actually have a few SS figures that have stood the test of time (for me...)

While perhaps not as nice as the HT version, I haven't replaced my Sandtrooper trio. I've kept my original Darth Maul due to the crazy price of the new one. I don't think HT will release a Rebel Trooper so that one is still holding it's own.

They used the Battlefront license to get the Shock Trooper, Jumptrooper, and Snowtrooper (sort of) out through their video game line.

It's possible they'll do the same with Battlefront II, giving us a few clone variants or other troopers and characters through that license.

Howard did hint that Jedi Anakin was coming, so if that sells well, and it should, we could see Generali Kenobi, Mace Windu, Commander Cody, and some Clone Troopers. Jedi Anakin would be the foot in the door to the Clone Wars.

One of HT's early Star Wars figures was supposed to be Anakin, before Disney said 'no PT'. I'm sure he's planned like so many other figures, but who the hell knows when it will be previewed.

Howard's notorious for 'hints' that never come to pass, or take many years to materialize. He also mentions Batman Returns figures (Catwoman and Penguin) in that interview you mention, and he's been saying that for about 3-4 years now.

When did Disney say no PT?
