Mine should arrive on Wed. I still have mixed feeling about the HS (flat hair), but I'm really fond of Cap. Looks like the helmet will always be on.

Helmet has to stay on the flattened the hair to make the helmet fit but in doing so it changed his look with out it

I don't know why they couldn't have just done what they did with Thor and Odin and just given Cap swappable hair pieces to accommodate the helmet.

I think the trend for HT is to go for the cheap route with the heads (Loki/Rescue Cap). Make one flat hair HS instead of the head swap. It looks passable for some, not so much for this Cap. Then again, maybe it's more of a reaction to all those who kept complaining about the visible gap in between the swap parts...

To be fair though Thor and Odin appear for much of the film without their helmets on therefore it made sense to have the extra display option. When Cap is in the Rescue outfit he almost always has the helmet on.

Why make the helmet removable at all then? From a business standpoint, having an extra head or hair piece that can make "standard" Steve Rogers would have been a huge selling point. That's what most of us wanted to begin with. So here we are, once again with no neutral expression, standard look Steve Rogers head to use for all of kit bashes. Military Dress Steve Rogers, Helicarrier casual Avengers outfit Steve Rogers, off duty Steve Rogers, whatever, lol. I mean, sometimes I sit and scratch my head with some of Hot Toys choices. It's like they kinda do a bit of the regular look, a bit of the battle damaged look, and go with it (like with the Avengers version).

Ok. Im a little pissed.
My girlfriend's order was placed about two weeks ago and it will be here Thursday. My order that I placed the minute it went up didn't get shipped till today so I probably wont see it till next week. Even though we both were charged on the same day. If it's the luck of the draw then what's the point of hurrying to get an order in.

Just got him in the door! I can't post pics from my phone unfortunately but as someone who was was worried about the accuracy of the head, its pretty good. The hair is a problem but nt as bad as previous pics made it out to be. Had it Avengers hair it would be perfect.

Helmet is weird, it looks like a regular helmet with the blue helmet capped over it as a seperate piece. Maybe it isn't supposed to separate.

I'll go into more detail once I get more time to mess with him later, have a stupid eye appointment to go to

I am there with ya man! I bought one the minute it went up, and I still don't have a shipping notice... A buddy bought it a week later and will have his tomorrow.

I guess sideshow doesn't ship these on a first come, first served basis? That is pretty lame.
