Nope, the way the straps are, it'll put the shield on it's side.

After messing with him some more, I don't think you can even unhook those straps, the hooks on the ends are looped around a really thick section of fabric, even if I get them off it'll be a hell of a time getting them back on. Time to bring out zip ties D:

EDIT: There's a small loop at the back of his jacket, you can slide a tooth pick in there and it's just wide enough to give the shield something to rest on.

Got him in today and I have to say that he is amazing! I don't get how people do not see Evans' profile in the sculpt because it is spot on. My ONLY complaints are that the jacket cannot unzip (the directions even tell you not to) and that the leather is so tight that you cannot raise his arm very high. I wanted to pose him holding an American flag, but it looks silly because his elbow cannot bend above the waist.

Very happy that I spent the $250 on him!

I'm really looking forward to this guy. Mine arrived in San Diego, but that's because I stupidly left the wrong shipping address on my order despite the fact they sent me an email asking me multiple times to confirm it before shipping. Oh well, my folks shipped it off to me today.

Saw another little review on facebook where the guy had managed to unzip the coat so you can see all the USO details, it's alltjere, stripes n what-not

I guess for most figures it won't see the light of day as the jacket will covering it, but i'm sure there are some takented folk on the board who find sone ingenious way to kit bash it

From the videos i'm so much happier that i've got this coming!

Amazing, amazing amazing. Totally surprised by this inhand. The box is just beautiful. Anyone who has bought one their exclusives from last year will know what to expect. Hard textured card sleeve, pull out folder like inner tray. And I apologize to whoever I was a smart ass to last week about the helmet. It IS metal.
