I think that may be a trick of the background/ lighting. It is an army green which doesn't pop as much on the gray background I had up when I shot those really quick.

While Doom has been brighter green in some appearances, I am really glad he went with this shade. Seems more "real-world" to me.

No completely, I gave it a black was and a semi glossy varnish plus some metal scratches.

That looks so awesome It looks so realistic and makes the stock version look like a toy.
