Yeah, I actually really liked that ending for Cap more than I thought I would. In hindsight, I think it was better that Stark die, and Cap be the one to retire. Stark could really never retire as IM, because he’d always be a marked man. Cap was able to be the one to retire by giving him the ability to go back and live the life he was supposed to. Having them both die I think would have been a bit much. It had to be one or the other. I actually like that sort of passing of the mantle as well to the next CA, with Steve Rogers actually choosing his successor, rather than him dying and someone takes it upon themselves to fill his shoes. It feels more earned when it’s passed on by the true Cap.

Only thing I would have MAYBE done differently was have Steve actually meet Peggy at the Stork Club for their dance, as opposed to showing them in their house. Her sitting in the club, thinking he won’t show, and then he walks in to her surprise and she says her classic line of “You’re late.” To which he responds with something along the lines of, “Was busy saving the world.” To her, she’d presume he was referring to the events of TFA with taking down Schmidt’s ship, but the audience of course would know what he meant.

What now for Iron Man? They finally gave Pepper a suit, but could it move forward to their daughter?.. Might have to wait ten years or so for that to work though

Considering Ragnarok was similar in tone, and Hemsworth loved the direction it went in, it could be a hoot... Hope they at least slim the beer gut though..

I think they'll lay low for a while, but honestly I don't foresee the daughter or Pepper taking part in future iron endeavors. Earth didn't just lose Iron Man, but also one of the biggest genius/inventors they had. Is someone going to make a Mark 86?

I just saw the movie. I feel IW was better at keeping the tension and was more exciting. Part of me also actually likes the fake leaks that came out better than how some of the events turned out. Prof Hulk feels like a joke to me. :/

Professor hulk is also in the comic the movie derives it's title from, so I wasn't too surprised by that.

Maybe Pepper will give Shuri the armor and she'll be the new 'Iron Man' like Riri Williams from the comics. Shuri is a fan favorite so I could totally see them going that route. I don't think they would make her a main character though.... maybe along the sidelines like War Machine.
