After watching..I’m glad I didn’t really get into this version of his suit…over hyped :thud:
Seriously, how he got it to look this way was so dumb. Everyone had elaborate ideas and they gave us that lol

Toys Wonderland could probably take it down to $200 and nobody will be interested after this weekend :lol

It’s the night monkey suit all over again. That figure ended up going very cheap in HK.
pointless suit but damn it looks good on the shelf next to other black & gold figs

Suit was completely worthless in the movie, and this figure isn’t even a good representation of it anyway. Poor show by Hot Toys and the licensing department at Marvel/Sony.

I hope it does! I was able to snag the deluxe night monkey before sideshow even got their stock for $220 from tba. I'm a sucker for black suits tho.

Yea, this should should just be cancelled or given to MILK, like that old War Machine, for an Exclusive just so people would want it:lol

This could be another Summer Exclusive where HT takes all the ones that didn't sell and revamp them accurate to the movie.

As much as I see you guys ragging on the suit, it actually did serve a narrative purpose.

Sandman knows Raimi Spider-Man in the black suit, so that's why he was able to recognize Holland's Spidey so quickly and offer his assistance against Electro. That's the only reason Holland got green paint thrown on him, so he could turn it inside out, so later on he would be recognized by Sandman later on immediately. I thought it made sense.

But yeah, if this ends up selling poorly then that's good for me because I wouldn't mind picking this up at a major discount ala Night Monkey.

But Sandman last seen him in his red and blue.

I think this figure looks amazing. I haven't seen the movie yet but I want this figure regardless of what happens in the film

This suit is pretty much concept art territory as it didn't even look like this in the movie.

I think most of the details are right, it’s just missing the hanging wires and taped phone to his chest.

On a side note, I really liked the scene right before he encountered sandman and electro when he was swinging from the power lines. Something we haven’t really seen before.

Are you forgetting that he sees and fights him in the red and blue suit at the end of SM3..?

Yeah this was overhyped and not very accurate to the film... but it's still an awesome looking Spidey figure so I can let it slide. And HT frankly made it look far cooler than it did on screen.
