It's nothing to do with the movies.
The first Spider-Man is Hot Toys' first go at the character of Spider-Man. The big question is, will Hot Toys make an improved Spider-Man Figure for the new movie, after working out what they could have done better on this one.

it doesnt matter it will be awhile before we see and get that figure. Right now we have an awesome spidey coming on the way from one os the memorible frachise in history. So i cant wait for this spidey.

I already own the Spidey comic book version from Medicom, which is pretty nice as far as a comic book version is concerned (albeit VERY fragile), but I'm sure HT will hit a homerun with its movie version. The teaser looks awesome.

It's still too early to say, but other than the ____ty tailoring I like what I'm seeing. I wish the webbing was black instead of the silver/gray but who knows, they might change it before it's released.

Looking forward to the specs/pics and HOPEFULLY Doc Ock and the Green Goblin in the future.

As a matter of fact, when I received mine I simply took it out of the box, posed it standing in as an inspired a pose as I could, and never touched it again...

Too bad because the possibilities with it are vast.

Lots of potential just as everyone has said. A Doc Ock would be extremely nice. I would also like a Flint Marko/Sandman, the most underrated character in the Trilogy, IMO.

I'm really excited about this though. Hopefully, we get Supes soon and a Spidey not too far behind.

seriously, those that are complaining bout the tailoring from the teaser pic... the fig was blown up like 300-400%. I'm sure the stitches isnt that noticeable on hand.

I hope they make aunt may, jonah and mary jane as well
