Is it possible they can do clothed/gloved type hands (like Marcus Wright had) with articulated fingers?

Or better yet the Walnut Creek Target for the greatest collection of MILFs in the Bay Area... I love that place.

Trader Joes Walnut Creek is fantastic too for that....

Going off of the history of their recent figures I think you'll get fists, shooting web heads and articulated bendy hands covered in fabric.

The silver webbing is inaccurate. In Spider-Man 3, he wore shiny black webbing but silver with the black suit.

Meh. Sideshow and a whole slew of other companies got it wrong too and not too many people complained. :lol

The one by Flying Colors? (you must buy your comic books there too I assume)

Bendy hands with fabric overlay sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. I'm really hoping they keep this simple. Figure, unmasked head (though I could do without) and a s-load of hands similar to the Bruce Lee DX.... A stand that could help with super dramatic posses would be cool too.

I'm just a little tough on the Spidey films now. The first one was really cool but I have a hard time re-watching the origin portion since it's pacing is pretty slow. SM2 was good but I really didn't dig the overall take on Doc Ock. He didn't need to be a sympathetic figure. Make the bad guy a BAD GUY.... And of course number three was okay at best. When I look at all three now I just think one thing: Needs more Spider-Man!! Sometimes I think film makers miss the importance of giving the main superhero as much screen time as possible, and I don't mean Spidey with his mask off either. Leave the frickin' mask on!!

This is something I agree with. I used to love Spider-man, X-men etc..

But recently I find it hard to enjoy them as much as I used to, for me it's because I think with the recent Iron Man, Iron Man 2 and TIH films I've been spoilt because they've been amazing. Plus with Thor and Captain America also looking amazing it's just hard to see them as anything but 'ok'.

No the one in Broadway Plaza. I don't actually buy my comics from Flying Colors. To me a Comic Shop is like a bar, you are good to your regulars. In 2005-2007 I went to FC every week, when I worked near it I went multiple times a week. I dressed up my cubicle with items from it. I spent on average about $600 on comics, figures, statues, posters, shirts, etc. Only one person in there took the time to remember or learn my name despite being a regular. Not one person offered to order me something if they were out or even tell me about something upcoming. Hell recently with the Blackest Night promotion they didn't give out the rings unless you signed up for a list ahead of time and committed to buying all the issues needed for them, the rest they kept and sold as a set. Joe's (the owner) daughter Jenny was actually the only employee who even bothered to get to know me and talk to me during my lunch breaks while I was there about various stuff. When she left no one cared. They price gauge anyway looking at the highest end of the MSRP spectrum and their after Thanksgiving sales only match what other shops already offer off the bat.

So I said ____ them when I stopped working in WC because it'd be a travel every week. I buy from Midtown Comics who despite being in NYC actually already treat me like a regular customer sending me Twitter messages personalized to me and even emails from employees offering stuff upcoming. While I know they do this for a ton of other people its a good business practice that FC severely lacks no doubt from the fact they are the only game in town for 40 miles in all directions. Unless you count Cosmic Slop in Antioch which also sells Bongs and Porn and feels like every time you are in there you are going to get drugged and raped to the sound of the police scanner in the corner...

BOT: I wonder if they'll include webbing?

Yeah, I really think the earlier films that were made by other studios are going to have a tough time staying relevant when compared to stuff that's being cranked out by Marvel now. I know it's early but I already look at Incredible Hulk,IM 1 and 2 and Wolverine Origins favorably over the SM and X-men Trilogies.

Jenny is super cool, and not bad looking, at least when she was on the thinner side. It's been a couple of years since I've seen her in there since my collecting went from weekly purchases to not even keeping a comic saver and just popping in to grab a trade or GN every few months. Still, whenever she sees my brother and I she refers to us by our last name and gives us a big smile. The same can't be said for the rest of the folks there. Brian, who I think no longer works there (tall guy, maybe 6'2" with a goatee and shaved head) was also very cool but the rest of the lot make you feel as if you're in some snobby/cool/hipster music store where smiling and personnel interaction are strictly forbidden. Like you said, it's the only brick and mortar show in town now, which is sad.

I can't believe Cosmic Slop is still open, though I can't even bring myself to go into that place anymore.... Does Mullet-Man still own it?

Ah, the Broadway Plaza one used to be Andronicos or Whole Foods, right?

I can go either way on the webbing... I guess it just depends on how well HT pulls it off.

I enjoy the older movies and I cannot wait for the full reveal of this figure :yess:

Ironman, War Machine, Black Widow, Whiplash, Wolverine, Ghost Rider, Blade, Abigail and finally Spiderman. Just need a Punisher, Daredevil from the older films and Captain America and Thor from the upcoming films and I am set (for now).

Add some more villains: Doc Ock, Sabertooth (Liev), Red Skull and Loki I'd be in heaven.

Yup and still as creepy as all hell.

Right, on the weekend its like a catalog in there.

I have my doubts but if its wired and can slip into the wrist like they do for their cigars, that might be cool for dramatic poses.

There's a couple of decent comic shops around me. However, I just order my Invincible Iron Man and Captain America straight from Marvel. Ultimate Thor, GI Joe, Batman, and Batman The Dark Knight coming from TFaw.

How the ____ are they still open? They're selling dope out of there, right?

I'll check it out, for sure.

Even webs to hold, as long as HT supply fists that look as if they're closed around it, would be cool... Even better if they could support his weight so he can be displayed swinging. Now I'm already thinking of ways to rig up a shelf in my detolf. :panic:

I thought of going that route in the past but once I stopped buying ASM I had no need to continue with any other Marvel titles... It was all the crossover stuff that killed it for me... I lost track of the story lines then ASM went weekly and I was really lost. ____ing marvel.

I went away from comics for a long while. The Iron Man movies really got me interested in reading. I like the Invincible Iron Man series as it feels like the movies and the writing/art is really pretty good. Captain America is Cap and a good series right now since he's come back and its got some neat twists in it right now. The same goes with Batman and The Dark Knight which is just getting ready to start should be good since it deal with Bruce himself. Of course GI Joe is amazing and has some great into plus fits where GI Joe is at right now with the SS stuff.

I do not agree. If a customizer is able to do it (and 4 years ago!) can't see why HT isn't.

I would like cloth mask like this one too, don't mind if that's removable or not (from the same custom):

I'm so shocked with this custom!! Wish HT's Spidey to look as much as possible to this one...

Looks okay, but I can bet they'll have some QC issues right off the bat with this one. Not just that, but the material and body underneath looks unappealing already. We'll have to see more pics.

A Doc Ock would be sick, though.

will defn have to wait to see how this turns out. Like almost every HT piece, this will have its inaccuracies, but if they can pull it off, then i would be down for the red/blue costume, black and Venom. Very skeptical about how they will handle the material...........
