Yeah, the Snake Eyes route is the way to go. If Sideshow can do it right, Hot Toys should have no problem doing it right either.

I wouldn't mind if they made it a tight fitting one piece suit that covers from head to toe with no seams, so no removable head. Look at DX02 batman, he did not have a bruce wayne head and realistically who cares to see tobey's face, its all about a bad ass spiderman figure.

Preferably the head won't be interchangeable, so there is a seamless look to it.

Completely agree zero interest in Maguire and the suit just has to be seamless

most people ( myself included) want to be able to display a super hero with his mask off if he does it in the comic or movie.

He'll have a Toby head. 100% guaranteed. I mean even Ghost Rider got a Nicholas Cage head. Plus the figure will have to have at least three pieces to the suit. Legs, torso, mask. The real question is how they handle the hands. I think Snake Eyes' mask looks pretty seamless, but he has distinct gloves on. Spidey's blend into the suit. So it will be interesting to see if we get a bunch of gloves up to the forearm with him. I think Spidey's suit is probably what has held him up for so long. Sure its easy to make a suit, but how to you keep articulation and interchangable hands/heads at the same time? Not so easy then.

I would like a Tobey sculpt with switch out hair, one normal hair piece to be used when displaying him without the mask and a second hair piece with flattened down hair that will enable the mask to fit over his head.
I'd never display him showing Toby's face..but i'd still like to have the option giving the price of theses figures.

Well as far as the hands go, you don't need to change out the hands, just go with poseable fingers like the mark 4 iron man figure, poseable fingers under the gloves would work for me.

had not thought about the hands either... it would be neet to see if they did moveable fingers like the mark 4-6 have.. but i'd also be ok with normal hands, like medi did.

I expect this to be the Best 1/6th clothed spider-man figure we've received to date.
I anticipate Hot toys to address the issues with each of the previous versions that have been made available.

Medicom Spideys were crap because the switch out hands does does not flow well with the rest of his costume, looks like he is wearing gardening mits. Also, doubt they will have a separate mask to go over Peter's head cause it will be loose and saggy. They didn't even do it for their batman figures.
