Hot Toys Star Wars Stormtrooper

I am glad to be getting more of the OT figs......I cannot wait to see what else is coming. Empire being my favorite film, I am stoked to see what HT has to offer ( Bounty Hunters , Hoth etc)

ESB is my favourite of the Star Wars films too. I'm hoping they'll tackle a Snowtrooper Commander as I really like that version & I'd love a General Veers figure too as I'm sure they'll capture the likeness well.

These Stormtroopers look good. I think every maker has some issue or another with their version, but these look good, IMO.

The threads in this section need adjustments. Where's the MMS number on this? Not out yet? Why aren't the Full Specs and Pics in the first post. Stay on target lads or other star systems will suffer the same fate as Alderaan.

Originally this scene was going to take place in the set where Leia is captured. That would have been ****. Those photos really make me hope that HT will capture that silhouette in their Vader, black on white. In fact, they should use this scene only for reference.

Before Vader enters the scene you see the trooper on the left of the screen pulling bodies out to the sides. Fun fact: that trooper is Joe Johnston.

Wow, I'd never heard that. I knew he was the spacetrooper (both) and one of the DS Troopers working the superlaser (because those inserts were filmed in California) but I never knew Johnston was in the U.K. where I'm assuming they filmed that Tantive scene.

What would have been a bit problematic because Johnston's something like 6'-4" - almost Prowse's height (maybe the reason Vader doesn't look hugely tall in a few of those scenes.)

Are you sure? I can't see what he was doing in the UK at that time!
