Glue it. Unless you want to send everything back you might be better off with a DIY repair. I had an issue with my Darth Malgus figure and I had to send the whole thing back. I don't believe they have replacement parts like Sideshow but I could be mistaken.

These guys have a slight "no neck" issue. Is there any easy way to elongate the neck by maybe 1/8-1/4"?

Had the same thing happen to one of mine when it rolled itself off my desk. Have to keep your eye on those little guys.

The Hasbro one you can throw against the wall and it won't break. It's the right scale too.:lol

Custom longer neck post? Take original neck post, cut the ball off each end, drill & tap each ball for a #8 or #10 bolt. Get a #8 or #10 bolt and cut/shear to desired length. Thread balls onto bolt.

Good idea, Pix. Another possibility is cutting the neck post in half and putting each end into the desired length of aluminium tubing. A couple people did that with the Witchking figure when porting to a new body to elongate the torso.

Thanks guys - I'm first going to see if I can find another HT post to use, because I hate to cut or paint $200 figs.:lol If not, under the knife it goes.:pray:

Yeah, have to say I hate modifying these figures from stock myself, but at least it won't be visible. Assuming the neck pegs are readily available (or you're able to substitute) you can always mod back, too. Always like that option in case I decide to sell (not likely with Stormtroopers but you never know).

Cold dead hands...:lol

Hello sideshowcollectors,

first time hot toys 1/6 scale buyer here :) great forum thread!

I was wondering if someone has any advice on how to clean the QC issues on my 2pack storm trooper.
here are the images;

this might be from the leather holster

this is like a scratch

It looks like something I can manage but I could be wrong.

^^You could probably fix that with some toothpaste and a cloth. Others have buffed out marks like that. I have one on the leg of my trooper but I think I let it be. Some battle damage.

was gonna tell myself movie production mistakes. that will work as well.

I'll try this toothpaste and cloth method :)

Thank you everyone!
