The photos are great- she looks really beautiful. HT has really done Carrie justice with the figures so far...

I thought Han Solo looked creepily realistic when he first came out. Later, when compared to Luke, Han still looked pretty good IMO. Now, compared to Leia, Han looks very toy-ish, while Luke looks decent...

I presume you're talking about solely the ST figures?

I don't have TLJ Leia in hand, but in pictures I still think TFA Han is a better likeness than TLJ Leia. It's still a good sculpt, and would agree it's better than TFA Luke.

And what is with the 'Princess Leia' plaque? Hopefully Darth Fok is just reusing an old stand and that's not what came with GENERAL Leia...!

Actually I prefer the OT stands compared to the new ones. Han Solo stand from TFA was the worst.

Han sculpt is still pretty good imo. Luke’s is good too but the accuracy is off.

Yup, was referring just to ST figures, but I tend to hold unpopular opinions! Although in this case, it may just be me being easily swayed by the newer and shinier toys!

I agree though, the stands are pretty lackluster for the newer figs though.

I am happy that there is no reference to TLJ on the stand. The Falcon image is ideal for an EU old Leia

Hey, how have people been removing the white plastic that comes wrapped around her lower neck line? The plastic around her neck was easy to remove, but is the one around her lower neck meant to be removed too?

That was tough I had to take her jacket off and open the back of the dress (in the most platonic way)

Hmmm, I might just try to tuck the top part of the plastic under her dress to just hide it.

Strange, I got my Leia direct from Sideshow. They ship their stock direct from HK for Australian customers now for new releases.

Mine is shipping November 29, so I should get her just in time for my birthday! I'll bet others will start seeing shipping notices soon now.

They really improved this from the initial pics I saw. She was way too young and the final looks uncanny valley real

Overall, I'm pretty happy with this new Leia figure. Hot Toys have done a nice job with the head sculpt and outfit.
