I actually enjoyed this movie. But I loved the pacing, the girls, their getups, the music that went with every scene, the opening sequence, rich colour pallet of the film... sure, it wasn't spectacular in the written sense, but it entertained. I liked it. Sure, it could have been stronger, but it was only met to be a wet fanboy's dream. It sure pleased this fanboy!

100% agree

So the film opens this Thursday in Hong Kong (where HT is located, right?)

Thursdays are the days HT usually post some sort of sneak peek or figure specs on, so there's a good chance we'll see Babydoll or Amber this week.

Good thinking. :exactly: Yeah, maybe next week if ever..:monkey1

After watching the movie, HT should do Babydoll, Sweet Pea & Rocket cause they're the 3 main characters in the movie.

I think critics were more harsh on it since it was written/created by the director. It doesn't deserve a 20% or whatever it got on RT, should atleast be a 50% imo.

you have to take critic reviews with a grain of salt. Everyone has different interestes and what appeals to one will not appeal to another. For the most part, i think critics are biased fools. I can't wait to see this film and i think it's gonna be right up my alley.

Babydoll, Rocket and Sweet Pea are the ones. I know maybe we ee Amber... but after you saw the film you know that Rocket is a must.

Baby Doll and Sweet Pea are must, but I'd buy figs of all the ladies...if HT ever gets around to making them.

I do wonder if they are working on new female TT bodies for this line. There's definitely some challenges to doing female figures: rooted or molded hair, rubber limbs versus articulated limbs, etc.. I would like them to find a "happy medium" between articulation and asthetics. For a figure like Sweet Pea, I would like the figure to be able to pose in the tactical military positions that Jenna actually did in the movie.

Similarly, I'd like to be able to pose Baby Doll in the dynamic sword and pistol flourishes she did, although she did have a lot of skin showing. Rubber torso for the bare midriff stuff is a must, but I would not mind exposed joints if it means I can do more interesting poses.

But perhaps HT is working on something that takes the femme figure body to the next level? That's the only thing that lends a positive feeling to their lack of hype for me. :p

Rocket was the best character but her figure would flop so bad, probably worse than Silk Spectre.

Babydoll will sell cause she's a hot blonde in her school girl outfit which is appealing worldwide. Plus she's the poster girl of the film.

Amber will sell cause she's hot as hell and she's asian.

Sweet Pea has the best chance after those two, imo.. but I think her figure would flop as well.
