IMO, I'm starting to think the face looks a little "cartoony".
The damage seems to fabricated, and the eyes are really big.
Hopefully I can get mine to look more along the lines of the following pic, however, I don't think that endoskull is a T-600's.

Now THAT is crazy looking. I want that. I want mine to look like that. I want it!

Mate, I would go with the weathered rubber skin version (MMS104) if I was limited to one -- you get it all with that figure. Pay a bit more and get the VIP/Exclusive edition if you can. You can't go wrong either way, though. :chew

You could easily customise the masks, they are made from a strong plastic/rubber type compound that could be modified in any way you like. I have an extra "standard" mask that I'm going customise like the burnt version in T-4.

Don't let our poor photographic skills fool you, they look 100X better (like all Hot Toys) when you view them in person.

lol actually i dont think any of them really represent what we saw on screen. the exclusive mask sorta does when they were at the "slaughter house". Anyhow i dont mind at all and the regular rubber skin mask is my favorite, i just like the sort of blank expression it has and i think it looks creepier.

Both the regular and exclusive masks were seen at the concentration camps.
The regular ver. was seen guarding the people in line (that's when Kyle was identified), and the other was seen outside. (it shot the escapee)

But having display options is cool. I just wish we got a bust like the HT Mark2 IronMan.

yeah they should have kept the t-600 that attacks marcus the way it was, the really shredded one that made the final cut looks too forced or something, i dont know i cant put my finger on it, but i think the regular one looks more intimidating. just imo.

yeah, it's the creepyness of a cold expressionless face... the final cut was pretty much the endoskeleton with a layer of ash. we're used to that already.

Hot Toys must have started work on the moulds before they got confirmation about some of the finer details.

The movie should have included more scenes with people fighting them etc. We should have seen gangs of these guys hunting around. I think Marcus yelling "Hey!" at the T-600 was the best part of the movie.

They couldn't have picked a worse actor to portray John Connor, talk about forced acting... But that's another story.

Yea I have the sideshow exclusive version on PreOrder but I'm thinking about just getting the regular one since it's a lot cheaper than SSC from a local seller and picking up the mask on ebay and customize it later on or something.

His interpretation of Conner didn't really do his acting skills any justice. Too much dark, moody, emo Dark Knight crept in.

If he had brought a little of T1/T2 Sarah Conner to the stage it would have been great. He was brought up and trained by Sarah and thus there should be some reflection of her in his psyche.

Watching TS I was waiting for Bale to break into some sort of "Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio" spiel.

i like bale as an actor, but as a person he seems like a real d-bag anymore, i think maybe his success went to his head. But yeah as far as acting i like him, i mean damn he lost like 100 pounds to be in the machinist and that was a low budget film, that to me is dedication.

Hes a good watchable actor, he was just too shouty on one hand and too low-tone on the other in T4.

And I wouldn't trade the John Connor figure for any hypothetical alternative actor.

Keep the exclusive if you can stretch it, I doubt that many T-600's will get parted out. The exclusive version mask doesn't come packaged in a blister pack like the alternate Predator 1 mask etc. It's in a little plastic bag that's been taped closed. I honestly think that the "VIP" mask should've been standard, because I can imagine many people will have trouble fitting the standard mask. The exclusive mask is very easy to fit and position.

I guess the blackened mask came about because it makes more sense in contrast with the rest of his clothing. The standard mask seems to contradict the story his clothes are telling. Most of the damage to the mask would've been caused by all the high velocity backblast from his grenades. He should be more sooty from the exhaust from the M-134 Vulcan minigun... He should have more burn marks on what's left of his clothes... An M-134A minigun firing 168 grain 7.62mm rounds at 2600 fps at 3000 rpm roughly equates to about 320 foot pounds of force -- about 850 pounds of reverse thrust is generated when firing. The T-600 caught in Kyle's trap would have spun like a top. Even though it's pure fantasy, it still makes for some very cool imagery.

Never let pure fact get in the way of a movie or Hot Toys figure!
