I feel the dark/gritty world James Cameron showed us in T1 had a lot to due with the fact that it was just a low budget movie. I doubt there's any way to re-capture that image with the millions and millions these companies invest into a movie nowadays

those still were very cool scenes and i'd be a shame if the new movies didnt try to replicate what Cameron did. still, i hope the new T movies dont blow like t3 did.

Well he did pretty well in recapturing it with the opening of T2...and that was like the most expensive movie ever at that time.

Terminator Salvation looks to have the most realistic feeling out of them all and it has that nitty gritty feel to it.

The Future is supposed to be always dark, the ground is supposed to be nothing but skulls and junk and there are supposed to be armies of Endo's and HK tanks and flyers.

still, that was almost 20 years ago. I think the major differences in feel is/was the future was always "dark" because it was always a night time scene and what was shown always seemed like a more confined space with a ton of junk/debris and craziness just happening everywhere. In T:S, there's a daytime setting (in the trailer), plus it seems like the space they fight in is alot more open.

Did anyone order the T-600 Sideshow Exclusive? Does anyone know if it comes with 2 bases or just the exclusive base? I think i like the original base instead of the exclusive version.

I think he will come just with that exclusive base... and it looks worse than the original base.

I agree....If they continue to have lame exclusives, I'll pass - fine by me - these are expensive enough already

Pretty crap exclusive alright. And if it only has the one base then it makes the standard issue version equally as ''exclusive''. A true exclusive should have everything the normal one does plus something else.
