I gave up trying to stay spoiler free, there's just too much info about it everywhere. So I thought ^^^^ it! and got the book.
I think I'm really going to enjoy the movie. Oh and BTW in the Offical Companion book it has a whole section on the T-700, which looks exactly like the T-800

Can you read Chinese? Maybe it was an old T-800 they just customised for that expo. I think I'll wait for offical announcment or someone to translate it.

Yes! That's exactly what I assumed.
This is a photo straight from the official TS movie companion book, do you remember if it was in the T-700 section?
I know the url for this pic reads T-800 heads, but for all I know Screenrant.com could have just mislabeled them or were too ignorant to know either way.

Does anyone know why the T-600 doesn't come with it's grenade launcher thingy in it's other hand because the one that was hunting Marcus, Kyle, and Star in the begining did?

I think the grenade launcher is just an accessory. Yes it was on the T600 which attacked the trio.... BUT if u are to look at the T600 which shot at one of the captured humans who tried to escape from the cage in the camp....it does not have a the launcher.... Also, in the building where T600 was guarding the prisoners whom were queueing up..... That guy had a machine gun instead.....

You would think HT would be nice since we are paying so much for this thing but noooooooo. They will probably come out with another version that's BD with a rocket launcher to milk us more.

Yeah and they all looked slightly different, had slightly different amounts of wear/tear and rubber skin and clothing. I think it's fine in terms of weapons, it has the essential, but I really felt like it should have come with some cloth and a rubber 'mask.' But then again that'd make the T-700 look really under-developed in comparison. I'm still getting a T-700, I missed out on the T-800 back in the day and this is going really cheap right now.

glad i didn't freak out and order the t700. i do still kinda want a couple of the factory diorama thingies, though.
for now, my plan is to hold out until ht makes a t600 version of it that was in the movie/game.
also, any plans for a t600 with rubber skin?

I dunno what Hot Toys has up their sleeves, but I'm going to buy a rubber mask from a poster on here. It looks pretty fantastic and relatively cheap as well.
I am gonna DIY a latex mask for it and also tear up of few pieces of army fatigues to dress the guy up

But yes, the T-700! I'm beginning to suspect that all of the endoskeletons being produced in the Skynet factory John infiltrated were T-700 models, not T-800s!

I think that's the situation, they're far rougher in texture....but the problem is, when Connor and the gang plop down into the assembly area where the T-800 fight takes place, he notes something about them "building t-800s here". What a debacle.
