is there any difference between the new t-700 and the old t-800 other than the acid etching and no gun

I thought the T-700 was meant to be slightly bigger than the T-800...

I mean, even the 3 3/4" figures got that one right...

I know the hot toys facebook page lists a t-800 but it kind of looks like the one they already released but maybe they will make another one

How can you tell from that tiny picture that its a T-800 and not a T-700? Or that it even has a new paint app? Yes, its holding a weapon but that doesnt mean the fig isnt the T-700...or even the old T-800 endo that HT just added to the exhibition for completion's sake.

That seems to be the idea :lol

When I saw the film I couldn't find any scenes with them, at least not clearly them.

I reckon HT actually just wanted to re-release the old T-800 but just changed the name/paint apps to T-700 to sucker people who already had the T-800 into buying it again.

Do we see the T-900 even?

Is that what you'd call it? How about not re-releasing the T-800 to respect the tons of people who have bought it recently for $300-$500? The T-700 was labelled wrong, even Play Mates did the same mistake.

The HTs T-700 is:

It is a T-800 with dried up liquid metal, the scene where it is fighting Connor. The liquid metal spills on the T-800 and then drys up ............. that is what your HTs T-700 is.

hmmmm .. nope. :nono that makes no sense.

The caption says T800 below one of these. . .though the other one says T600 and clearly isn't.

Wasn't the Anrold T-model still shiny after being covered in motlent metal? I don't remember ever seeing a scene were something looked like the T-700.

And not even one single mention of a T-700 model in the entire flick.

That is correct and also proves that the T-700 was never in the film. My point is geared towards proving what HT's and Play Mates both did it wrong. They made a T-800 covered in dried metal and labelled it a T-700, thats all. Maybe i'm wrong but this is the only way you can make sense of what HT's and Play Mates released.
