These shots are great Maulfan. I sometime find some of your shots a little dark for my personal taste, but these are super sharp.

Well, for the most part I try to make my images artistic, tons of people on this board take the daylight and flashlit pictures enough to show normal views and detail and all that, It ry to light them in ways like the movie or how I'd light the subjects for effect if I were making a movie.

I'm not sure I agree about the regular Dent headsculpt looking pissed. I find it to portray the "superhero determination" look. I like the look and it works for me. I think a smile portrait would have limited the positions to put him in.

Pissed probably isn't the best word, I guess intense would be appropriate. It's a cool look, I just find that the contrast between Harvey's persona before and after his injuries would be further shown if the Dent figure stood as a charming white knight of Gotham with Two-Face standing as the Dark, twisted, vengeful side.

True. I wouldn't mind seeing a more friendly sculpt either. For some the portrait will work, for others not. Just like the V2 Joker sculpt, it looks exactly like heath, but I still want a laughing head, taken further than just a smirk. Think the end of his first "home movie", that's the laugh I want captured in 1/6.

Absolutely. Not full on evil, but a man hell bent on revenge. Yulli perfectly captured the emotion Eckhart put into the role. Not 100% accurate on the burned side, but the emotion is perfect.

Well, unfortunately it looks like we'll never know who's responsible for the burn side.

And he shouldn't look evil, just very very pissed, which they captured. Even though I'll be tweaking a spare Two-Face head just to see what I can do in terms of matching it to the film better it's to test my skills more than anything, the production figure well represents him as I remember him from the movie and I'm very happy for that.

Seems like that won't be happening though. The poster that came with BRJ and Two-face would seem to make it definitive that this is it, this is the TDK line. Plus why hold back on an announcement about another wave? A pity. Laughing joker, shouting two-face, gordon, alfred, I'd buy them all.

Is it just me, or is harvey a litle, just a litle, smaller than the other TDK figures?

His head? Not really. It's a combination of factors that make the figure look that way. Eckhart's head is more slender than Ledger and cowled Batman, that combined with how a suit looks on the broad shouldered True Type body and the head seems like a mismatch to the body, but the head is in fine scale with any other 1/6 head.

I dont have them. I'm just saying from the pictures. Btw, love your stuff. Those photos of TDK are pure gold.

Thanks. I was as much expressing frustration with Hot Toys as anything else. I love their products and quality, but a number of figures on the TrueType 38 body, which the whole TDK line is on, have bothered me because of what the base body's shape does to the look of the figures. Two-Face looks very broad and flat shouldered because of the design of the TT and how his particular costume is. The purple suit joker looks fine because of all the layers and the size of the head with the mask on balances out the BR figure, but Two-Face and TDK suit Batman are too wide in the upper bodies and it's because of the base figure, other than a totally new base body, small tweaks will only fix this so much.

I'm new to Hot Toys. The Dark Knight line made a fan. I have Batman TDK and purple suit Joker. Batpod and BR Joker is on it's way to my home and I have Harvey preordered. But I agree with you. Joker seems fit in those clothes. Batman seems to suffer from a wide body. Harvey I have to see in person do say something...

As much as I rip on the Two-Face a bit, from the neck down it really is the best possible figure Hot Toys could achieve, my problems are with the fact that they're limited to achieving only that because of a misshaped body and only using one body. They need bodies of varying proportions from height to build for their lines. Joker is the tallest in the line, and while you never really see him and Batman or Two-Face stand up near each other to guage height, it just seems wrong when TF and Bats look little next to him.

Does the shirt come dirtied like this, or is that a mod of your own, MaulFan?

If so, it looks great!

No, the shirt comes clean. I bought a spare white business shirt off ebay so if I ever want to get mileage out of the Harvey option, I have a shirt for each look. Which by the way, Harvey shots are coming. I like to make my figures look nice before photos, so I wanted to get a good number of Two-Face stuff out of the way first after the time I took getting his shirt done up and tucked how I like and all.

yeah bring on the Harvey man! still havnt got around to buying up my extra gear to display him. i really dont want to kitbash, because i want the exact look, so i'm gunna hunt down the genuine stuff on ebay. Its mostly in GBPounds though, which is an even more horrible exchange rate than the US stuff
