So with "the bat" exhibition at toy sapiens later today do we get a reveal of 1/4 batman,Selina an 89 batmobile? I know it's a stretch but some of these are due out in may, and it seems like a logical time to unveil all at once!!!. I would pass out if this happens lol

So with the announcement of the Terminator 1/4 Endoskeleton I really don't think it's too far fetched to believe final product pictures are on the horizon for this guy. Sideshow said he was still on schedule. It would only make sense. They were both announced at the same time last year. Here's hoping :dance

I hope. Seems like they are firing out releases one after the other now. Loki, Terminator Endo and IM Mark VII is next week. It seems reasonable to think they are on track with their schedule.

Yes, thats true. The only thing was that Bats wasn't in the Sideshow newsletter yesterday. However, neither was the endoskeleton.. Obviously the endoskeleton is officially complete. I now assume it may have had more to do with Bats being the 1st quarter scale figure and less to do with it not being finished. He's the official breaking of new ground for the company. Or maybe just that they wanted to have both of their 1/4 scale figures shown at the same time. I don't know.. It's reason enough to be excited :yess:

Based on what SS told me this is ground breaking for them. They don't know what to expect on this one at all. Honestly I'm just excited when they have any news not related to IM these days. I do love IM and all and I am getting Mark VII but its crazy how they seem to bury all these other great releases with IM. :cuckoo:

i think this figure is going to usher in a new and very popular scale for hot toys. 1/4 scale is HUGE, the accessories are numerous, and i feel confident hot toys won't produce another batman like this with a slight variance, then release it as new. they did that with the 1/6 joker so what came down to different accessories forced you to buy an entire new figure. i always thought hot toys should release accessory packs instead of bilking the collector with a subtle variant figure. i have this on order and am very excited about it's release!

Seeing the way they handled that Terminator figure makes me wonder if they fixed the issues with this guy, as it seems like they're really trying to make the 1/4th line something special; as of now, I'm skeptical, but I would gladly pay secondhand prices for an Exclusive if the issues were fixed.

What were some of the issues with it? Anyway, like I said, the only way I pick this thing up is if it's fixed. If not, they can keep it.:lecture

I'm 100% with you on that. I was starting to really hate Facebook more than usual because my news feed was completely taken over by Hot Toys promoting everything Iron Man. Very annoying

Yeah. It is huge. And highly detailed. I don't think we'll be seeing another Bale Batman from Hot Toys in a long time. Maybe not ever. I too have it on order and am very excited for its release. I'm very optimistic that he is going to blow people away. Well, blow them away in the sense that he'll exceed the majority of people's expectations. Not necessarily blow them away like Enterbay 1/4 Bats.

I've had this discussion before and somebody told me that Hot Toys doesn't necessarily see the "issues" you speak of as issues at all. I agree with that. We very well maybe getting a DX12 in 1/4 scale. I've accepted that. The one thing I like about that is the fact that i've never seen a 1/6 scale figure look worse in 1/4 scale. I've seen just as good and better. I've never seen worse. Might be what we get. I can live with it.

:horror They are blinded.

People were very vocal about the issues at one time, and I hope that HT took that stuff into account. If not, what the hell; they've got plenty of other lines I'm interested in, and this is money that I could use on them instead.:lol

Exactly. My last payment is coming up in 3 weeks. I'm getting him no matter what but the in hand pics are what's going to do it for me on whether I keep him. I just POd the 1989 Batmobile and I'm only keeping one of these most likely. I hope Bats comes first so I can sell him and help fund the Batmobile if I don't like what I see.

First of all I apologize if I came off as a ****. I guess you didn't take it that way and I didn't mean it that way either. I just re-read what I said and it kinda looked that way. Yes, I hope they listened too. And you're right! Your money could certainly go towards something else. Like the never ending and ever expanding line of Iron Man figures :ohbfrank:

I really hope you end up having to find money elsewhere to fund the 89 Batmobile. If this guy is anywhere near what he should be you'll be keeping him :)

Idk the details of the real endo enough to know what was right/wrong with the proto, but I did see some folks say there should be gap(s) between the teeth but the production version doesn't have the gaps :lol

Oh, don't worry about it; I didn't take it that way, but yeah, between Man of Steel, Arkham City, 66 Bats, and The Lone Ranger, I've got plenty of options.:lol As for Iron Man, I could not agree more.
