I really hope this turns out well (completely different from what we've seen) as the thought of a TDK suit Batman at 1:4 is just amazing.

The DX12 is my favourite figure. I hope this overtakes it!

X2. I'm really tempted by the QS002 after seeing some video reviews, but would easily pass on that in favour of this if it turns out as awesome as the QS002.

:lol

Nope they themselves announced it awhile back on their Facebook that they'd be making at least 15 of the new suits in IM3 :lol

Spread out over a span of years or is it truly their plan to just say **** you to fans of other licenses until they run down through all of that George Lucas rainbow-clone nonsense? HT, just stop buying other licenses if this is your intention going forward. Let other companies have a shot at these licenses that, for you, are either one & done or none & done deals.

But :lol why would they do that.

I think Fall might be better chance for release.........but will it be this Fall or Fall 2014?

Seriously, very excited for this- will be priority over every other figure- yes that includes Iron Man!!!!!!!!

they didn't give a time estimate but my guess is that the we'll at least get 2 if not 3 more POs for IM3 before May ends. Mandarin, Igor and Heartbreaker.

Why indeed? I think HT really prefers to have the license and not produce any figures from it instead of letting other companies have that license and make money the could've been theirs if they decided to make them

From what I'm reading in Iron Man threads from people who have seen the new film they're sceptical (skeptical?) about how well these multiple armor variants are going to sell given lack of screen time in the film.

Oh please lord let this bite HT in the @$$.

It's funny how Iron Man III, the film is all about Tony and how the "armor doesn't make the man" vs. what Hot Toys is doing with the license.

It sort of misses the point of the movie altogether. :lol

But hey, cool looking figures.

:exactly::lol

Of all the figures shown the one I think looks the most interesting is that Tony Stark. One of the things I like about it is that its a human figure. I remember a time not so long ago when HT used to make quite a lot of those. Those were good times.

And judging by what I hear about the movie, that cool Tony Stark figure is the only one ya need!

All those suits are just for show and really only help flesh out the climax of the film. That's it.

Isn't it out in Ireland a-dev? Get your *** off the computer and go see it!

Holy $h!t it is. From tomorrow actually. I didn't know that. Me and the other half were actually planning a cinema trip this weekend, if I can get tickets thats what we'll see. She likes superhero films and actually would probably prefer if I was collecting primarily superhero figures than the Terminator stuff.

Yeah, you're lucky.

We still have to wait a whole week.

My waitlist converted for an exclusive edition. Going to need to decide soon if I want to keep it. I currently only have 1/6 figures in my collection... ugh.. so hard to decide. It'd be 100x easier if I knew what other 1/4 figures HT was planning on releasing this year. Disappointing they can't release a 1/4 Joker!
