People should have a return for something near flawless, especially if HT had about 3 goes at Bale. There is no doubt about it being the same sculpt but why add anything more or less? That's like DaVinci finishing the Mona and decided to add wrinkles on a young face.

Yeah and those reasons are possibly why it looks less like Bale in the final product. :dunno

Sometimes the standards are higher for others than oneself, so going off calling people crazy is a little too strong.

I think he was just speaking figuratively, well I hope he was. :dunno

There is definitely room for improvement especially for the upcoming 1/4 scale. I'm pleased with Kojun's efforts on the DX12 but I know he can do better. We've seen it.

:exactly:

Like I said before, I think his John Connor sculpt is proof he can sculpt Bale.

I predict your prediction will fail.

:rotfl :rotfl

Something about the nose is different.. not just bassed on the picture you posted (I own that sculpt)... And the paint job on the eyes is a lot worst in the final product, kinda cockeyed...

Yeah that's it, I knew there was something wrong with the eyes but do you think that a long with the nose is enough to make the sculpts look totally different? :huh

Well I got tired on the DX12 thread drawing lines trying to show people why the final product looks different than the proto.. And a bunch of people started to talk about the angle and pictures were never in the same angle, never the same light... the same blah blah... althought the sculps looks diferents to me in the eyes/nose/paint job, where I think the difference is beyond just the light and the angle.. I dare anyone to take a picture of their DX12's Bruce Wayne and make it looks exactly as the proto (except the eyes, of course)..

yellow lines = the proto coincide with the final product

red lines = the final doesn't match the proto.

If you match the eyes' line, then you get the nose have different length.. and if you match the tip of the nose, you get the eyes on the proto are in a higher position.. either way the nose looks different to me

Yeah I remember, I mean to me it looks obvious but people come up with all sorts of excuses.

I have yet to see a front pic on side to side comparison where they look the same. If people think the angle is off then rotate the angle on their DX12 head so it matches the angle on the prototype.

Yeah but remember what they said in the DX12 thread that both pictures are not at the exact same angle. So people will always have an excuse. :(

The face looks wider and more squashed for the final product in the pic directly above.

He's still going on about the DX12?! :lol

Well someone mentioned on this thread that Kojun should stop making Batman figures and I said I think he is fine but a lot of people were complaining about the DX12 Bale head sculpt on facebook being a lot different to the proto. People wanted to know what was different so T7 is just explaining it.

I don't even see how those diagrams work. I never have.

The sizes of the pictures are different, with different angles, taken at different positions at different locations with different lighting.

Shrinking those suckers down isn't going to make very accurate comparisons. It just makes for a huge waste of time.

That is probably true all I know is my DX12 Bale looks nothing like this.

Maybe because the eyes are painted wrong IDK but the final product looks off IMO.

And to be honest that's not the most flattering pic of the Bale sculpt. Mine looks great in hand.

It might be an unflattering pic but mine does look like the one in the pic T7 showed and I honestly would not know who that was if someone asked me to guess the actor. I am still not saying the head sculpt is not the same sculpt, all I am saying is I can understand where the facebook people were coming from because I can not recognize Bale in the DX12 sculpt. It is probably because it is cockeyed. :dunno It just looks way different to that proto pic.

Yep. Eyes and nose are one thing. Take note of the more obvious cheek bones on final version compared to proto. These are small slight problems. The bigger ones for me is how heavy he looks and the orange-tan skin tone. BW barely left the mansion to have that tan. I hope the 1/4 would have a lot more pale in him.

Nice for the review but I still prefer on the right.....Bale has unique jaw and mouth so...... yupe its Bale, from my point of view.....cant run from it.
My wife who never watch and hates Batman movie also knows this guy is an actor from some Battie movie by seeing the movie magazine at a glance....
