I canceled this last nite. Decided not to get into figures, just PFs and 1/3 scale (customs and Cinemaquette). Hope everyone who gets one enjoys it.
While I like statues better (despite only having one) than figures, their paints jobs suck especially on Sideshows PFs, even though their head sculpts are phenomenal, like the ones done by Trevor Grove. Cinemaquette look terrific and very realistic but the likeness is usually poor on their human ones. I never heard of many 1/3 scale custom statues where do you find these?
We should be seeing in hand pics this week then?

Have any you guys ever used Loontentoys on Ebay for any figures? Apparently a professional Hot Toys seller, with 100% positive feedback and close to 5000 feedbacks now, iv pre ordered this bats from him for a reasonable £370. Hes always messaged me back when i had an enquiry, just thought id drop the question...

He's great. You are 100% safe with him. But he doesn't get stock immediately on release like some of the more expensive sellers.

I used to buy a lot of Hot Toys figures from him in the past(around 10) and he was really good. But the last two items I bought, a 300 King Leonidas figure was supposed to be sealed inside its brown shipper and it came to me loose and he wouldn't make it right, and then the last thing was the Batman DX 12 whick came in a dented up box and not due to shipping either, and again he wouldn't make it right. I coudn't give negative feedback for him because these items were pre-orders and past the 90 day window. My advice, get your money back and buy from someone here in the US.

So I wonder if we will get any additional teasers before the full reveal this week. Plastic Enemies has been quiet since they released those 2 pics yesterday and no other blogs have teased anything else about this guy. Hopefully the reveal does happen this week...
Yeah they're great! Great prices and service. They're my go to place on ebay. them or hk_apestore. With EMS shipping you will get it really fast.
I still need to see in hand pics before I act on this. I can't think of a character I want more at 1:4 but as it is now...not worth the money.

Dude thanks for the Loontentoys confirmation, but have you seen the amazing accessories and the package as a whole with this scale figure?? I thought it was a bargain even at £370, but this scale only works for certain critical characters. Like you could have bane but you would want to pay a lot less for him as even with the 1/6 scale he comes with quite limited bits. And the latest hype is the 1/4 scale Man Of Steel Superman and Jor-El figures by Hot Toys. If you are a DC fan these 2 versions (Batman and Superman) in 1/4 scale is the coolest thing like ever!!! (Just hope Supes comes with a kryptonite accessory i can put on Batmans defeated enemy stand hahaha!!
I'm waiting. If the cowl has improved and the arms are shorter it's a done deal. I've got the money waiting, it's either this guy or the Enterbay. (I've decided to wait on EBs Endo)

Well it was announced almost a year ago, and its been the talk of many forums since then. Everyone has high expectations of this guy so im sure Hot Toys spent them 10 months and fan responses in earnest and we will end up with a truly epic 1/4 scale figure. I mean look at the 1/4 scale Terminator Exoskeleton, the minute detail on that figure is just headbanging. Even the feet have seperate joints for the toes. If Hot Toys can master that, this should be no problem...

yes true but the nitpickers are pulling the 1/4 Endo apart....looks incredible to me but not if you read some of the comments!
