blah blah complaining about complainers

blah blah Same old thing

blah blah and yet repetitive about the same

Dude you're a human contradiction yourself.. you complain about people being repetitive about things they dislike about this or any other figure, and yet you do the same thing except you complain over and over and over about the same thing (i.e complainers)

You don't like complainers.. WE GET IT.... stop posting about it...

:rotfl :rotfl :rotfl

And get me off of your mind... you alude to me on every single post you do... :lol

"don't be like him", "don't agree with him", "don't be a clown like him"... you're just... well you are all you can be I guess... :lol

PS: Some people like me to draw comparative lines :lecture

Just want to share with you guys, my cousin received his Enterbay 1/4 scale Batman Begins suit figure yesterday. And i have to say the cowl sculpts are the best movie depiction of a batman cowl iv ever seen in my life, absolutely batman absolutely christian bale under there. The suit is again an amazing complete version of the BB movie suit. Had a matte rubber feel to it. Though its restricted, you can still get a few decent poses out of him. Accessories are not bad either, as the belt is magnetic you can attach whatever accessory to suit his pose.

Now to the main point of this "update" the Bruce Wayne sculpt...
100% rediculously not Christian Bale, the eyes are squinty, the shape of his face is wrong, the hair is too flat - if that makes sense and his chin?? As much as Hot Toys Bruce Wayne sculpt has a sort of too strong/manly chin, Enterbays version is too sharp or thin if tou like. I was not impressed at all. I think once Hot Toys release this TDKR batman, both companies should swap and Hot Toys should try a Begins version of suit in 1/4 scale. Just my opinion...

Enterbay impressed with the cowl and suit, i know i am completely and utterly all for the TDKR suit because its so impressive. But it would be nice to see wot Hot Toys can make of it.

Dude I'm stoked for this. I plan on getting two. I passed on EBs 1/4 offering because it doesn't come equipped with pers. it looks nice, but...i dunno, the less than stellar bale sculpt, and IMO, lifeless eyes on the cowled head made it a tough pass.

IMO, pers makes figures come alive. So Hopefully, HT will do a begins suit.

On a slightly related note, I don't know why these companies feel compelled to secure the rights for producing certain scaled products whilst preventing other companies from competing. I'm positive HTs inked a deal with marvel that gives them a monopoly on 1/6 - 1/4 products, making it tough for a company like play imaginative to release their products outside of Singapore.

I remember the good ol days when we had THREE companies were making product out of 1 property. Sure we had varying degrees of quality between them, but at least we had options.

Medicom, takara, HT, all made BB. Now?

As much as I want the 1/4 batman...this business "strategy" From HT is making it harder for me to continue supporting them. That and rising prices.

Absolutely, i understand. I personally am only going to purchase this figure in 1/4, i know Hot Toys have rights to 1/4 Man Of Steel figures so il be putting money on the side for Superman and i hope somewer along the line they release a 1/4 Joker. Thats all i want in 1/4 scale, im a Batman/DC nut so i must get Batman, i must get Superman. If they make a 1/4 scale iron man, impressive as it may be i wouldnt go out of pocket and pay out $500-700 for it. Buts thats just me.

Omg...they have the rights for QS MoS too? man, and I was strongly considering dropping HT once I get their 1/6 MOS line, but now? Dammit!

I too am kinda leaning on only collecting 1/4. I agree with you. their QS IM line may end up being impressive...but like you, I'm a DC fan, and getting both TDKR and MoS QS figures is priority.

Lol great. Not sure about Zod but i can bet money that there is definitly 1/4 scales of Superman and Jor-El in the works. Well according to Hot Toys facebook page anyway. Hot Toys is getting impressive year by year i must admit. Look at Iron Man Mark 3 back in 2008 and look at the Mark 4 2010-2011, or even the Batman DX02 and DX12. They go from strength to strength. My recent Joker 2.0 sealed me with Hot Toys for life, its the most accurate depiction of Heath Ledger as Joker from the movie ever!!!!

Welcome to the club man.

I agree, they do step it up, but like every great company with humble beginnings eventually grow into a greedy empire.

I just wish they bring their prices down a little bit. Then I wouldn't be thinking about dropping them. It sucks because they make the things i want, but their pricing structure as of the past 2 years?

This is in no way a knock on their quality, but a knock on their management.

True. Very decent quality but the prices need looking at. I understand $500 for this 1/4 Batman because he comes with every accessory you see in both movies, even to the sonic cutter and radiation detector. Plus my cousin is passing on the mangler you see at beginning of TDK movie from his Enterbay figure lol but i think the 1/4 Superman will cost alot less as how many accessories does superman need...? Couple of changeable hands and maybe a stone of kryptonite and an additional head sculpt with pers. thats what im hoping anyway.

I dunno man, did you see the msrp for avengers Thor?

What did he come with? A couple of hands and a hammer?

I honestly don't think supes will cost any less. Maybe like...$10 bucks or so...if we're so lucky.

I picked up Thor for £150 which wasnt too bad. He looks cool looks good stood next to my Iron Man mark 4 and War Machine lol well lets hope Hot Toys have mercy when it comes to pricing future 1/4 scales.

I just lookd on www.whysoseriousonline.co.uk and this bats is on there for the usual price of £370, but its release date is down as Q2 2013 and available for delivery Q3 2013!! Wot the hell?? (Though mine is coming from Hong Kong so bound to get it earlier than that)

So is there a price value this guy is worth? I can't seem to find the 1/4 scale batman for sale on eBay...

1/4 scale is HUGE, should make a 1/4 scale bat mobile next hahaha

I know you are joking but if Hot Toys can't even make a 1/6 Bat because of size, imagine how big that Tumber would be. It would be like the size of a kids Power Wheels.

Word.

If you haven't seen it, watch the making of TDK. They show a 1/3 scale tumbler. So, take that, and imagine it just a little bit smaller, and that will be your 1/4 scale tumbler.

It's massive.
