Hot Toys TDKR: 1/4th scale Batman [QS001] - Full Reveal & Specs

I would really consider getting this, but is Hot Toys planning on making any other characters to go along with him? I don't want to have only 1 quarter scale figure while the rest are 1/6

From what iMan said, when he talked to Kato in Hong Kong, the first follow up figure is going to be Bale as Batman from Batman Begins.

I went from thinking I would only be posing him with the sonar head to having to seriously consider buying another figure just so I have a reason to keep the sonar head out of the box.

Not too sure how I feel about it right now. If its real good I will buy another. Put the backpack on him and use the exclusive 1/4 empty cowl to recreate the Hong Kong jump scene. If its not up to par or even just okay, i'll just buy one to display with the sticky gun and sonar eyes.

I think the Sonar head will be a helluva lot more impressive than the DX 02's was.

It always bothered me how dim the eyes seemed. The actual light and eyes didn't seem bright or large enough either (similar to the recent Avengers Iron Man).

Agreed. I see no reason why it wont be better this time around. And it was dim. Not sure why but it should've been more overwhelming (not completely) than it was.

No, only 2. I don't have the money for 3 of them. It was initially that the headsculpt was so bad that I thought I could only display it with sonar. All I'd need is one figure. But since im so impressed with the base sculpt, im gonna use that as the default. It would then be a toss up as to get another figure and pose him with sonar, or with the Bale sculpt. I wish I could get three though

That's the smartest way to go about it. You're a brave man for "playing" with your figures. I gotta say, my ocd is the worst kind imaginable. So having the figure and seeing the Bale sculpt and sonar head sitting idle will make me go insane. Literally. I have no choice but to buy another.

I kinda hope so but then again I don't, I would have to pay in full once it comes out since I didn't PO right when it went up and Flex Pay'd it.

Mind you, when I say "playing" with, I'm not talking about banging his head against a Mattel Joker figure while I scream "WHERRRRRE'S RACHELLLLLLLLL!?!?!?!" in my most growlerific Bat-voice. I don't think there's any harm in changing your displays up. These things are meant to be poseable, and it shouldn't be too big of a deal if, after you've had Sonar Bats with his angry face on for a while, you decide to use the Wayne head and Empty cowl to take Batman to Hong Kong.
