the base is so busy less is more sometimes

its so huge id rather just have a DK statue that will eventually be made

I congratulate Hot Toys and Enterbay for these stunning Batman and Joker figures... I don't care who's is who I just think they are great and can't wait to add them to my collection!

Damn, now i can't wait to place the order and receive it.

Hot toys is really unbeatable concerning marketing :p

Honestly my only concern is if the eyes are aligned correctly as opposed to the 1/6 version where his left eye appears higher than the right. And so far, from what I can tell based on these pics, the eyes are symmetrical.

I'm guilty of the nitpicking, but I think I can justify it. There comes a time when these things cross the line into "too realistic". That's when the nitpicking started. Before, we were still capable of differentiating "the toys" from their human counterparts, but now, well, just look at it. The way that this issue formed, in my opinion, was that these companies have improved by such leaps and bounds, that suddenly, our brains adjusted accordingly, and it was no longer about what they got right, but what they got wrong.

It's a glass half-empty, glass half-full scenario. For example, my pet peeve is The Joker's socks. Had my newbie self been looking at the DX 11, he'd have been in such awe that he wouldn't give a damn if the socks were made of marshmallows. Enter 3 years later, and my rationale is "they can make his head and wardrobe appear as if it popped off the screen, why can't they get something as miniscule as the socks right?" It's all a matter of perspective.

I'm not sure "justify" is the right word, but you're spot on otherwise.

It's just the nature of the thing.

Okay, the 1/4 scale version did a better job at showing the correct length of his hair, and aged him more appropriatly for TDKR. BUT, it just doesn't look as much like Christian Bale as the smaller head.

Totally gonna have the Wayne head on this bad boy, covered in Scarecrow's potato sack.

:rotfl Thaaat's what the masks are for!

Damn, look at how beautiful the ab/ribs look.

Arms look skinny to me though.

I think there's something about the proportions or the fit of the suit in this scale that makes it look more accurate and streamlined than the 1/6 version. The torso and how it transitions into the legs look much better on this figure as well.

Has Maglor commented on the torso armor yet? I think he'd be pleased that the 1/4 figure has some spacing between the rib and abdominal armor plates. And it looks more like pieces layered on top of one another.

Yep. Twice now. :wave

Here's hoping this means they're fixing the 1/6 version...

The roundness of the cowl is a huge improvement over the 1/6. And to me it appears that they fixed the head on the bat symbol.

Also, I admit the BW head looks better here. Still don't like it as much as the 1/6 one though.

I can see difference between 1/6 and 1/4 is body proportion.

Shoulders look too wide on the 1/4, but damn, the torso is so much better.

The 1/4 looks like it's using the 1/6 scale fists.

:lol :exactly: Skinny arms and tiny fists.

The first thing I noticed about this figure was the sweatshirt he's wearing under the kevlar. But the second thing I noticed was how awful and awfully enormous his shoulders look. I equated it to the original MMS TDK and I stand by it.
